What Is A Reelz Channel?

If Swiss Beatz started his own television channel, I would expect it to be called something like Reelz Channel. I understand why they do it, I just don't know why they would think it is a good name in the first place. The reason they can do it is the same reason Sci-Fi is now Syfy. Trademarking the name. Anyway, for realzz, the reelz channel got themselves their biggest coup ever. Oh, except for the cheezzz whizz commercial marathon they bought.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, if you can find the channel on your cable system, you can watch that Kennedy mini-series starring Katie Holmes. I have never seen it on my system. That does not mean I don't have it but when you start getting into the PPV porn I start losing focus and wondering if I can get away with ordering Dancing With Whores and calling it a misprint on the bill. "Supposed to be Dancing With Wolves mom." The channel is probably in some package that has a bunch of awful channels and one good one to get you to pay $5 more a month.

The premiere is April 3.

Is it a basic or premium cable channel?

I have the station here in the North Hollywood/Toluca Lake area. I just noticed it a few months ago along with another new station; Chiller. I don't plan on watching the Kennedy's thing though. None of that stuff interests me.

Poor Katie, she doesn't even get a chance to do direct to dvd anymore, now she is relegated to doing obscure never heard of cable channels, tragic, lol

@Rose it is basic cable. I have it and I am Time Warner and it wasn't easy to find.

All this hoopla is really for nothing. There is no dirty laundry aired and all the Kennedys are shown in their best lights.

This is just the Kennedy family getting their panties in a knot over the 50 years of "Camelot" anniversary.

Actually Reelz has been on my cable system for a couple of years. I also wanted it because it runs Jon Lovitz old animated series "The Critic" which I love.

As for Katie's career, I am sure TOmmygirl is guiding it. Remember he doesnt like his wives overshadowing him. Look at Nicole Kidman, when she first divorced him, she did more work and her career did sky rocket (albeit now it has plummeted).

ATT UVerse has it if you have the 400 level service. Only have the 200 level service so don't get the Reelz channel. UVerse has 100/200/400 levels.

Lmao! @ "Supposed to be Dances With Wolves, Mom".

I am so excited for this Mini Series. I was beginning to get worried caroline was going to succeed in banning its release.

You can enter your zip code in their website (near the top right) and it will tell you what channel number it is in your area.

For God's sake, someone PLEASE wipe that stupid ass smirk off of Katie's face!

For me, this post is rated two near-snarfs--as in, I was drinking while reading and almost snarfed at both "cheezzz whizz" and "Dancing With Whores" *lol*

Nicely done, Enty :)

For anyone with DirecTV, it's Channel 238.

I have Dish Network basic and I have it. Will definitely watch it just so I can make fun of Stepford Katie.

Maybe StarZ owns it? I have never heard of it, but I think Charter may have it. My husband is obsessed with all things Kennedy so we might actually watch it.

Reelz is the most random station. Every once in a while they'll have something on I want to watch, but it's rare. And this won't go on the list.

I'm surprised Cinemax didn't "snatch" it up!

I had no intention of watching it, but now that I know my cable provider doesn't carry reelz, I'm a bit miffed, lol. Much more fun to scorn watching it if I can actually get it.
