Lindsay Lohan & Woody Allen Have Dinner Together

Unlike most of the time when Lindsay Lohan goes to dinner with a guy, I'm guessing Woody Allen was not hitting on Lindsay in New York when they ate dinner this weekend. Lindsay probably would do anything to be in a Woody Allen movie and I'm wondering if Woody would consider it. He has taken chances on actors before and since Lindsay probably doesn't care about Woody sleeping with Soon Yi, I mean who is Lindsay to judge anything, then it probably gives her a much better chance than some other washed up former drug abuser and friend of the California penal system.

I wouldn't be surprised if she just knocked Soon-Yi over and jumped in the photo at the last minute.

She actually looks her age for a change.

Would like to know why they had dinner, this is killing me. What would they talk about? Do they have anything in common? Anything?

^^I'd love to have overheard any part of that conversation. Talk about an odd pairing.

@EmEyeKay Soon Yi and Lindsay could probably talk all night about their Daddy issues. Maybe Woody chimed in occasionally?

TMZ has video, the kids and Soon Yi were there. It almost looks like they didn't have dinner together, but are just leaving the same restaurant.

But how the hell does he think he can get insurance for her? IIRC, he ended up having to either scrap or recast a movie that he originally wanted RDJ & Winona Ryder for, because he couldn't get insurance for either one of them.

As for anything else, I have the sneaky suspicion that Soon-Yi has him totally by the nuts, and wouldn't be inclined to let LL get away with any attempts to trespass on her territory. (One would hope he'd be smarter than that to begin with, but given past behavior, well...)

That is soooooo much more believable than them actually having a conversation.

Ugh, don't do it Woody. Let's be real here: Lohan is NOT a good actress.

Woody may be controversial but I really like a lot of his movies - can't help it. I have no belief that if there was a dinner together that this was more than Woody considering casting her and there was a time she was considered very talented for her age. But now, she doesn't have the "for her age" going for her and she hasn't had clear acting success in years.

When Woody wanted to cast RDJ and Winona, I got it, they are both good and RDJ was so compelling to watch (now he's cashing in and that's okay). This would be more like stunt casting and would get media coverage which he's done before and I didn't always like those either.

Maybe it's not what it looks like....I pray.

It looks like a photo bomb, like Vicki Cupper said

I'm not a fan of Woody Allen the person, and I've only seen a couple of his movies, but I wouldn't think he needs stunt casting.

Why oh why does she keep getting chances? She isn't even a very good actress.

I love his older movies, but I think he's just recycling stuff for his newer movies. I'm not sure how much money his last movie made, but I could totally see him using stunt casting to drum up ticket sales.

If he applies as much thought to his casting choices as he does to his wardrobe, then it looks like Lindsay has the job.

I'm a Woody fan as well. I have almost all of his movies (all 50 of 'em. Oy!) and even Lindsay must be aware that when Woody casts an actress in his movies they often wind up winning the Oscar. Of course this story came from TMZ - the "We love Lindsay" site. Blech!

@popcorn - actually people that have known Woody claim that he is very picky and conscientious about his clothes and how he dresses.

Lol @Vicki!!

Hopefully LL gets her life together but I won't be going to see an movies she gets cast in, assuming that actually happens. If she were smart (and she obviously isn't at this point..) she'd leave Hollywood alone for a while.

Woody needs a wardrobe changer. The brown on brown is not doing it for him. He looks like a defunct professor.

Jason--- I think she might have stalked Woody. I've always heard Woody is known for his routine, as far as where he eats & when. So easy for a crack-head grifter to schmooze herself into his table, considering he's one of the last people who would make a 'scene' in a restaurant, especially with his wife & kids there.

Whatever you believe about Woody, I can't see him inviting a crackhead to dine with his kids there. That part is not credible to me. He's too private about those kids to expose them to her shitstorm. jmo

I've been a huge Woody Allen fan since I was 14 - which was a LONG time ago.

I once stood near him and his wife and a couple of mates waiting for a car for about 15 minutes and was still too intimidated to say anything.

It's not hard to know where Woody goes. He performs clarinet with his jazz band every Monday night at Michael's pub in NY. He is a phenomenal player too.

That girl must've been a saint in a former life. She seems to have an excess of good karma. I'm convinced at this point that she could squat, take a dump, and flowers would instantly start popping out of her turd.

They did indeed dine together - someone who was also in the restaurant tweeted about watching them.

Maybe he heard about the buy one get one free offer.
