Just when you thought there had to be someone in Hollywood who would refuse to get a facelift or procedure done to their face comes this intense A list mostly movie actor in a big award type film this year. He has moved away from the franchise role he once had. Anyway, he has a brand new scar down the side of his face where some work was performed. It is hard to tell because of his facial hair. Why get the work done if you are going to hide the results?

I think Christian Bale, too, if not for the reason that Bale is older than Tom Hard, and maybe he thought his face needed it.

with face lifts i've seen, the scars are tiny and not down the side of your face.

Maybe he got into some sort of kick ass ninja style sword fight..:it's a big reach to go straight to face lift. Those scars aren't supposed to be that visible.

I go with Bale. He's wearing a beard, he was Batman and he's in The Big Short.
Strange he'd have plastic surgery as he was never known for his looks, more for his dour, grumpy disposition. But he's going to make a movie that's a love story so maybe he thought he needed to look more youthful and handsome to be believable.
I'll go Mark Ruffalo because he doesn't seem like the plastic surgery type. Pretty sure he'll be back as Hulk, though.
Guys who age very well, usually don't need a face lift. So, the Christian Bale guess seems right on.
So sad he feels he needed a face-lift.
By the way, his sister, Louise Bale is a therapist with PCH. And, she is a good one.

Some good guesses, not sure which one I like better Keaton, Bale or Hardy.
Just wanted to point out that Hardy was a crack and alcohol addict and that can be very aging.
Bale wears a beard since The Big Short filming .Bale always wears or grows a beard outside of the filmings ." It is unemployment"
Keaton doesn't have facial hair.Just saw pix and he's clean shaven I think. Ruffalo isn't known as being intense even if his work is strong, more for being a great guy . Hardy or Bale fit both have beards now but like Frenchgirl said Bale often does .Not Sure about Tom Hardy.

I'd say Pitt but he's not intense. Bale is good looking and I doubt he'd do anything.
BS it's Bale. If he had work done he'd get that hideous mole removed off the side of his nose. It's becoming larger and more noticeable and will only grow as he ages, he'll eventually have to remove it if he wants to get roles.
In the high def photos I've seen there's no scar and his face is as lined as it ever was. No love of sunscreen for him.
Bale seems unlikely based on his personality plus he's still young enough looking and plays character roles not heartthrobs.
What the hell mole? I looked at Google images of him and saw no mole on his nose.
