Jessica Chastain is a terrible dresser. And she can sometimes look 20 years older than she is.
Cynthia Nixon definitely messed around with her face. Her eyes have that pinhole effect now (check out the pics on dListed).
Kathy Najimy's everything is awful. The fake breasts with the bra showing and the shrug so she paired black with blue? It's a budget Forever 21 look.

Bernadette Peters is a Goddess! So poised and flawless, THAT ladies, is how you walk a mutha-f#n red carpet. I love Cathy Najimi, she's funny and humble. Nate Burtka and NPH, le sigh, such a sweet man marriage! They look so happy!

Re: Bernadette Peters: WAY back in the 70's, when she was famous mostly from "The Jerk", Miss Peters said in an interview that she learned from the French how important skin care is (and she said this when she was in her 20's). I have a feeling she's just been very regimented, with the best foreign shit, her whole adult life. I'm not discounting ANY plastic surgery, but I think her glow comes from discipline.

Reno--NP. I panicked when you wrote that. He's such a bitter, bitter dude---It would be a real tragedy if he died before he got old & gave up being so miffed all the time. I'm not trying to be a smart-ass, I'm serious.
I think he's an ENORMOUS talent, but unlike Eddie, I don't really think he's been slighted by Hollywood. I think he did himself in with diva behavior and/or coke (in his heyday) and burned his bridges. Remember all those BOMBS he starred/wrote/produced/directed (?) in the late 80's? He done 'imself in when he blamed his failures on everyone else, especially since they were so much HIS projects.

I tried to watch coming to America a few days ago and got no further than 20 minutes into it. I remember enjoying that movie but it seems so hokey to me now....Either it hasn't aged well or I haven't aged well. ;)
OK, I'm weird, but I actually kind of like Ellen's dress; I'm just not sure about the accessories being turquoise. Also, while I think being a bit casual with one's hair can work really well w/a formal dress, I have to admit I'm hoping this isn't the hairstyle she actually wore to the awards, and that we're seeing her before she hit the hairdresser.
