The Mechanic has one of the best movie endings ever!
ReplyDeleteRIP.
ReplyDeleteMay he rest in peace. Never saw the films but if he worked with Gene Wilder he's alright in my book.
ReplyDeleteRIP, my dad loved those Charles Bronson movies
ReplyDelete@ Anna Nonymous - I think that's a young Michael Winner with Charles Bronson in that photo but OMG can you imagine a movie with a comical Gene Wilder and a pissed off Charles Bronson? I'd pay to see that!
ReplyDelete@ All about Eve - My father loved his movies too. They were "of an age".
RIP Mr. Winner.
I've never seen his movies but as a hardcore foodie I LOVED his restaurant reviews, 'Winner's Dinners' in the Sunday Times. He was so full of himself but he made me laugh. Boy, could that man eat :)
