This permanent A list “singer” supposedly was going to have a new single in the next couple of weeks. The thing is though it is going to take another couple of months to try and find enough vocals from all her recordings good enough to use on the single.

So i'm hoping she's not MV based on the fact that they are actually trying to use her own recordings to string together a decent song.
If they are trying to piece together her vocals to make a new single, I guess that rules Britney out as the infamous MV.

That's very true. I just can't help but think if someone else was singing her songs, why do they need to try to find vocals that are good enough to put on the new single. I could be wrong though. It's happened before. ;)
I'm getting an impression that Enty is trying now to sway us towards believing MV is Britney. He hated JLO, so it was easy to see her as MV.A T one time,he never had a bad word about her. In recent years he seems to have a lot of inside info on her. He said he was finished with clues, so one thing I noticed is that there have been many ghost singers on Britney 's records, can't think of any for JLO. JLO's singing voice sounds like her speaking voice , auto tuned. Several singers have voices nearly the same as Britney 's. They likely put some of her vocals in just to say she's singing on it.

I felt bad for her when Eve went after her saying she didn't sing on Scream and Shout...maybe she didn't but hell, give her a break.
Who is MV? Jlo was ruled out because I saw her on that karpool karaoke. Bitch can sing (Or at least she sounded like she does in her music)
The single was supposed to be out in May - then this "explanation" appeared on Idolator:

I had forgotten about the MV story Enty had here awhile ago.
Back then, I thought it was Brittney. She had the look, but not the voice; and the other had the voice, but NOT the look -- to be a pop star.
And, I am told by Hotel employees, she does lip sync in her "live" Las Vegas show.

MV is definitely JLo. SHE CAN'T SING! Britney as least as a decent voice.

I don't buy the MV blind at all, as entertaining as it was to read. I think it's just totally made up frankly. It's clearly intended to be either Britney or J Lo, but there are two problems with this.
1) why on earth would a regular session singer with Britney's or J Lo's voice (as it sounds on recordings) catch anyone's attention? Both have totally mediocre voices with limited range. I'm not buying this whole 'omg this session singer is so amazing we need to pay her off'. It doesn't ring true, particularly in the case of these two women. Quite frankly if I saw an average looking woman singing with either of their voices I'd advise her to find a new career. Jennifer Lopez herself has said that her voice is average and she lacks confidence when it comes to singing.
2) for this blind to really work, the singer in question must be really known for their strong vocals. The problem is, I can't think of any strong vocalist from this era who hasn't proven themselves live multiple times. As another poster said, J Lo's carpool karaoke sounded exactly like her recordings (maybe slightly pitchy but definitely her voice).
folks will forever hold on to Bit being great, like it took yrs for folks to see MaDonna for what she is.. all smoke and mirrors w/constant screeching.
Brit is a shell and I am honest w/myself, she'll never be great again, she is not a good singer, she is no longer a good dancer and she is not "back"

JHo's voice is horrid, she sounds like a cat in distress.
The clue that made me think "not Britney" was the fact MV was supposedly one horrible nasty witch to the singer helping her. Unless Britney was a giant hag back in her heyday and no one ever spilled it, I can't see her being that mean and ugly. JLo, on the other hand, seems to be the kind who could. Maybe that's silly, simplistic thinking on my part, but so be it. Besides, going by old recordings/videos, Britney COULD SING and at the time this happened, her voice hadn't deteriorated due to drugs, partying, etc. She was hitting her big stride/prime. I don't think a 14-15-16 year old who had proven she had a decent voice would need so much help getting a career started. JLo had never been a singer, per se.
At the time, I thought that was a big clue, but maybe it was really a red herring. The only other possibilities are that the singer wasn't as big as these two, but it would make some other clues not fit. The singer was supposed to be in big demand for commercials etc. If you look at long blinds, there is at least one red herring in them. It would be hard to imagine teenaged Britney acting this way. I agree about it being JLo because she made fun of the singers appearance and I can't see Britney doing that.
I loved JLo since she was a fly girl. Could totally see her being bitchy because she tried so hard on In Living Color and took the spotlight from the other girls. Then when Selena came out, they flip flopped for a while on if JLo did the singing and then it was how this Fly Girl came out of nowhere, all of a sudden she's a triple threat with this incredible voice? There should be a movie about THAT.
I wish someone could break Britney out of the conservatorship. I doubt it, but still hope.
Sad to see her on BBMAs. Her body looks ah-mazing but she doesn't dance anything like she used to & she was *great*. Everytime I watch her, I hope to see her spark. It was there when she did MTV awards doc after 5150s.
