Kevin Hart and the accident with his overpowered car and who was and was not driving.
the din doo muffin defense.
@junebug630
And who was in the back seat with him.
Judge just said she didn't file it correctly.

Kevin Hart keeps exposing himself as a human POS, offending nearly every type of person with his antics. And yet I doubt he’ll go away easily, similar to Eddie Murphy.
@Herbert Arnold - din doo nuffin defense - ROFL
Road head. He should have watched the first season of American Gods.
thought kevin was banging his trainer. his trainer's husband was driving.
leaving the scene to go to his 'nearby house' to call 911 instead of calling it right there....
yea....sure...
@Pissoff, but Hart was in the passenger seat and another man was driving 😂
So another high performance car crash because it was being driven by a low performance driver!
The general public has watched/listened to too many true crime and procedural shows to not collectively scoff at the believability of details of the initial reports (beyond concern for each involved).
In related news, Kevin O’Leary’s wife has been charged in the boat crash and is facing up to 18 months in jail.
i think it's a warning...hope he doesn't end up suicided
@Aqua, Actually maybe not:
"1:39 PM PT -- Linda's lawyer, Brian Greenspan, tells TMZ, Canadian authorities have got it all wrong. Greenspan says the penalty they're citing -- 18 months maximum in jail or a $1 million fine -- is for ocean-going vessels. The maximum penalty for pleasure craft, he says, is a $10,000 fine with NO jail time. Greenspan also says it's ridiculous to charge Linda when the cause of the crash was the other boat not having navigation lights on in the middle of a dark lake."

A former state trooper once told me that legally if you want to murder someone, the best method is to use a vehicle. As long as you don't hit them repeatedly of course.
@Brayson and hence we have the Linda Culkin murder by Toyota
@Brayson: Thanks for the link. Apparently they charged the captain of the other boat as well.
Brayson/Aqua-- Does that law strike you as odd? Like you're any less injured if struck in a lake vs an ocean?
@Aqua, Good point, how can they say she's at fault when they're saying the other ship didn't have its lights on? It's not like those things have reflectors on the sides.
@Vita, Maritime law is all kinds of f*cked up.
I think they assume an oceangoing craft (can be) larger and therefore inflict more damage?
I live near Lake Joseph where the O'Leary boat crash happened.
Entitled much?
Betcha O'Leary was the driver and quickly switched seats with the wife claiming he was more important. Threw her under the bus..or rather the boat. Just a real a-hole.
@brayson87 I agree, there was a case in my town a few years ago where a girl ran over her ex bf, he tried to talk to her she drove off and ran right over him. Got off with charges dismissed. Unbelievable, but grandfather was $$$.
The Kevin Hart accident doesn't make sense. They're in a ditch, he calls his security guy (not 911) and the guy comes and drives him off to his gated community while two people are trapped in the car? And then when they walk past the Good Samaritan (who *did* call 911) Kevin Hart says "Who the fuck is this?"
Then, what, a few hours later? Hart's wife calls 911 from home because Hart is incoherent and in a lot of pain. And mentions an accident "20 minutes ago."
So basically neither Hart nor anyone in his entourage called 911 for his friends in the car.
Question is, why? My only guess is that he was driving and he was under the influence.
What kind of human POS leaves their friends trapped in a car, calls his security and drives off?
