But Which Is The Messiah? - A couple of days after a weekly magazine asks out loud what happened to the twins, Brangelina cart them out for their first public appearance in a Tokyo airport. I think this is the first time I have seen all of the kids in one photo, although you have to imagine a shoe or a leg as one of the other kids. I'm just wondering which one is the Messiah and destined to replace Oprah as the leader of the world.
TV Surprises - There have been a few television surprises announced the past few days. First Alec Baldwin got Meryl Streep to agree to guest on 30 Rock and now Oscar winner Susan Sarandon is shooting scenes with Oscar winner George Clooney on the set of ER.
But I wanted K-Fed - Seriously, if ABC is ever going to get me to watch Dancing With The Stars they are going to have to pull out all the stops. I really wanted them to ask K-Fed. Sure he would have had to lose 50 -60 pounds, but he would have been great. Instead, they gave us Donny Osmond. Donny, who is always in search of new publicity and a few hundred words written about him, "let it slip" on Bonnie Hunt that he was going to be on the show. ABC was not happy, but what can they do? They can drop him and add Flavor Flav is what they can do.

I would've loved to watch K-Fed and his new gut on DWtS. Eh, at least now I don't have to try to fit another show into my schedule.
This must be gray day. Did anyone else notice that they're all wearing gray?
On another website the guess is that they needed to pull out all the stops so that Brad could win an Oscar.
I wouldn't put this sudden picture past them, after all we read the article about Angelina manipulating the press to her advantage.

For some reason 30 Rock and ER don't caught my attention even if Clooney is coming back for 1 show. Can't stand the guy.

He's not as dumb as some people like to think he is. And everyone wants to believe she's the villan.
How do you think the paps knew they were arriving, in their PRIVATE plane, to a PRIVATE airstrip?
They have campaigning to do, and they're both being trounced. Whatever works.

she wasn't this good before brad because she wasn't playing fucking mother theresa bb (before brad). she's been working overtime to change her whole image.
K-Fed could use Dancing with the Stars, people seem to lose a lot of weight. Donny's only doing it because Marie did, and she got pay-ayed.
It'll be HUGE to have Meryl on 30 Rock, that's awesome. Has she ever done TV?
Molly, I disagree with you. Her makeover started when she adopted Maddox, she totally went from left to right with the image. She adopted him, left BBT because "he didn't want kids", became an "working single mother" and took on the United Nations job.
It went into overdrive when Brad and her started screwing around and had to shield themselves from HIS cheating. Or whatever he claims it wasn't.
Just saying, I think he's schooling her, because I believe she would otherwise be giving the masses a big F- you. He's more conciliatory to the mini-vanners than she is. And I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority in that thinking, but I'm an Angie apologist :>

I know a lot of people love Brad and Angie for their humanitarian efforts but I've also worked in Social Services enough to know that it could still be a sham and therefore am not impressed.
Yes I agree they are both manipulative.
Someday when people ignore them or they no longer feel the need for all the attention we will get to know the real Brad and Angie.
Elsie I agree if it wasn't for Brad Angie would continue to give the industry the finger while still expecting to pick up her awards. After all wasn't she giving them the finger when she got her Oscar?

well, at least it was a private plane. all i could think of when i saw this picture was how glad i was that i wasn't flying on the same plane with them.
there isn't enough free booze IN first class to smooth over flying with that many kids.

lol bionic. truth be told i think a lot of us would vote for adult only planes versus family planes.
and many times its not the poor kid but the ignorant parent.
bionic, great grandmothers, like many great mothers, often avoid other people's kids while adoring their own. if all kids were raised like mine, i'd have no problem with them, but there really are a lot of bratty parents raising bratty kids out there.
They flew into Tokyo Narita Airport and Japanese law mandates all people must access customs re the main terminal, only exception is for the Emperor and Empress, Brad and Angelina had no choice but to walk through the main terminal with the kids. Doesn't matter whether you arrive by private plane or airline, rules are all the same. Other airports in other countries might allow them to deplane on the tarmac but that is not allowed in Japan. Not everything is a PR photo op. They are there to work, both TCCBB and Changeling are to open in Japan in February. Admire them for their great effort to keep the family together.

Just one quick question: How'd the paps know they were going to be there, at that exact moment, walking through the terminal? They DID arrive by private plane.
My bad, I had assumed it was a private terminal, didn't know the laws of Japan. However, if you check out the pics of the family coming through the area, nary a soul to be seen outside of the employees standing along the SECTIONED OFF area they were walking through.
Admire them for the family, absolutely. I believe, I really do.
However, I can guarantee you there is no such thing as unintentional photo ops with them.
Can you imagine flying in with 6 kids and coming off the plane in full make-up and not a nanny in sight...I say PHOTO OP........one of the tabloids was suggesting the babies are sick...I guess that's the real reason for this display of family...
can't be staged because paps didn't take the shot. it's copyrighted by reuters. they were probably there covering real news and simply seized the moment.
even a hater like me can see what this was about. nothin'....
Molly, I read that there was a swarm of paps there. I know I've seen tons of other pics of them on the internets today.
mooshki,it could be the other pics were taken by reuters, too, tho. it wouldn't surprise me if they set it up, but based on this one pic, it just doesn't look like it to me.

actually Angelina let it out while being interviewed on the red carpet for the SAG awards that the family would be leaving for Japan the next day, it was on several entertainment shows yesterday she said "oh yeah we're leaving for Japan tomorrow, my kids are always parking" this was in answer to a question about the kids or something can't remember.... The paps and even legit media like Reuters found out that way. As someone mentioned before in Japan everyone has to go through the screening so they had no choice of using a private entrance...
oh you guys lol. The paps would already know they were heading to Japan. Brad Pitt's movie is premiering there. Of COURSE they are heading there. And they have to go through that public terminal, the end. You do know the Paps camp out to get the big dollar shots, right?
I'm a little bemused by anyone acting outraged that an actor and actress would deliberately seek publicity when they are launching movies. Uhh, hello, they are a product that markets the movies they are in. Most actors can't GET the paps to photograph them. These two can dictate when and where (for the most part). That's skill.
SPeaking of skill - it takes the flexibility and strength of a cirque du soleil performer to get my two toddlers and my ten year old in the car to go to the supermarket 5 blocks away. Look at those two with SIX KIDS. Pretty soon they'll have to stack 'em like cordwood.
Love it. Big families are cool. I bet it makes Nancy Pelosi seethe all night - six kids in one family!!!!!

btw . Pax is clearly the messiah. Pax has mystery. Messiahs need to have some mystery. Unless a big ol' star rises over your crib and tells the world you are the messiah, you probably need to grow into it, because at that point you lost the initial dramatic entrance and are going to have to cultivate an aura.
It's the quiet kid. Pax. Messiahs have to be quiet so they can sort of sneak up on you when they reveal their awesomeness.

All snark aside, I think that Brangelina really are good parents. When you see candid shots of the older kids, they always look so happy and playful. If we didn't find something to criticize about them, most of us would probably just sit and stew in our jealousy. :)
