Rumer Willis Says Her Success Is Hers Alone **Warning** Tooth Fairy Spoiler
I am pretty sure that Rumer Willis must think there is such a thing as the tooth fairy. It is the only explanation for she is convinced that all the success she has had acting is because of her talent and has nothing to do with her parents. Uh huh.
What talent? Has she seen her movies? I have already told you about the horror of that movie House Bunny. Did she watch it?
In a recent interview Rumer said, "You can't do anything about who your parents are," she said. "I think everyone has opportunities and everyone has doors that are open to them in different ways. If you're talented you'll get work."
She added,"If you suck then you won't. In the end, talent is all that matters because you could go and get an audition, but if you go in there and you suck you're not going to get a job."
She says that she gets auditions based on her name. OK, lots of actors and actresses don't even get that far so that is parent's help right there. I am not begrudging her the fact her parents are Demi and Bruce and taking those opportunities. She is right about people having doors opened for them, but it seems really disingenuous to think they had nothing to do with her career. She is getting roles because of her parents. I will say her roles are becoming few and far between though because as she says, if you suck you are not going to get a job.

well in all fairness there are a million hollywood kids who don't get anywhere (Kim Stewart, Randy Spelling, Jason Gould, etc)yet she does for some god awful reason because I think she is HIDEOUS

Little Taterhead has probably been told all her life how very "special" and "talented" she is, just like all the other "special" and "talented" Hollywood offspring. Of course she believes it. And of course Bruce and Demi allow her to believe she does it all on here own.

It always amazes me how unfortunate she still looks, even though she has major Hollywood bucks and resources to make her look her best. She really must try her hardest, bless her heart.
In all fairness she looks kinda cute in that picture. I think it's because her head is covered.

sassafrass - Who called her Taterhead in this post? I'm just saying she's not that fortunate looking. Sucks she got picked on when she was little, but who wasn't? Her parents were in the spotlight, so she has to know that people would make fun of her. Besides, I'd be less likely to make fun of her if she had any talent.

@Karmen, it's a shot from one of the *worst* films ever : House Bunny. Sad to say, I've seen it and I'd quite like my time back but much like Rumer's "talent", it's never going to be seen.

Her mother is beautiful, her father isn't unattractive. Boy, they sure spawned one odd looking kid. Her acting is bland and quite forgettable but I can never get past just how unfortunate looking she is. Ickkkk.
I'm not in the least bit shy about saying that I think she is a non-talented, unattractive wannabe with name recognition.
Who in hell tells her she has talent? Oh I forgot, its all those people who fawn over her Some even go so far as to publish her photos in gossip rags and websites.

Even if her face is... rather unconventional, if she actually was a good actor/a good enough human being to realize she is NOT a good actor I don´t think that would matter all that much.
