Ashley Dupre Gets An Advice Column

You know things are going to crap in this world when Ashley Dupre is getting paid a salary to write an advice column for the NY Post. Everyone is out of work, but the former hooker who brought down a Governor is suddenly an expert on dating and relationships and gets a job. There is no way I could do this topic justice, and I thought to myself I bet Michael K already wrote about it. Sure enough he had, and for his take on the thoughts of Ashley doling out relationship advice, you can click here.

Thanks, Enty, I love Michael K almost as much as I love you. :)

She gives great advice, by the way. Nothing turns a woman on like having her boyfriend make it clear he doesn't respect her wishes.

Wow, advice on love and relationships from a hooker, what is else next sex ed advice from Jenna Jameson?

so charging for cooch qualifies you to write an advice column? wth. i didn't realize the post had such a niche demographic.

I thought the glasses were a nice touch.

I wonder if Tiger Woods will be writing for advice.

Lutefisk, I don't know about the asking for advice, but I wouldn't be surprised if he texted her. :P

The only think I want from Dupree is a Playboy or Penthouse spread (cause dang she is hot). Other then that, rather her 15 end ASAP.

Why do I even try? Really? Why did I spend 6 years in school only to bag groceries? Clearly I missed the memo. I should have become a hooker! All this time, I've had it wrong. Silly me.

Lutefisk, you are on fire today. ;)

Thanks Lauren :)--
keep in mind she's writing for the NY Post, it isn't as if the New York Times gave her a column.
I can't believe they dropped Liz Smith from the paper for financial reasons, only to give a hooker her own column. I fear the direction our society is headed off in.

Its not my style, but I'm actually tempted to write to the NY Post over this. WTF is the world coming to?

Oh, she'll wax authoritatively on matters such as how to rinse it out properly so ATM is more bearable.

(Wow, sorry! That was nasty...)

I would read it. She certainly knows what men like and how they think so if I cared enough to want to know some answers I would definitely listen to her.

Plus, she paid her dues and right now it's time to bash Tiger's whores.

OK. I have worked for years in the newspaper industry, and my husband still does. So many of our very talented and amazing friends have lost their jobs because of how shitty the industry/economy is, and this call girl gets a paid column in the Post. Bitch please. This is like the end of the world as we know it. It's such a gimmick. It makes me sick.

So does she charge by the word? Does she get paid more for bigger words? (roll eyes)

Did she have to PREFORM her resume to get her job? Because how the hell are you going to WRITE out the job skills of a hooker and get hired.

(The only advice she could give is: Keeping it up in a down economy.)

Is it possible to feel sorry for a bruise?

I wondered why this waste of space was on the View today (I could see the screen, but sound was muted). So let me get this straight. A whore gets a relationship column. Not an "oh-I-don't-like-her-she's-a-whore" kind of whore, but an actual "I take money for sex" whore. Wow. I wasted four good of the best looking years of my life getting an education and sleeping with guys for free.
