ReplyDeleteIt was pretty awful. Product placement galore. It was full of general awkwardness. I only tuned in after Glee ended and I went to bed early yesterday. I did enjoy seeing Johnny Depp. I was surprised he would actually be there to accept his award.

Also what was that thing they keep using to take pictures? It was like just another camera phone. The hosts didn't do that great of a job I didn't catch what the device was called and why it was so special. Sorry, I am extra grouchy today.

Steve Carell's acceptance speech was also an instant classic.
Kutcher annoyed the shit out of me streaming his whole acceptance live (not to mention Andy Samberg should have won) and Alba looked very very plain.

I had it on, but it was basically background noise. However, aside from the web celeb and Sasha Baron Cohen, I did notice that when Hugh Jackman won his award for being Hugh Jackman, his wife wasn't there but a very handsome man was by his side.
