Justin Bieber Enjoys Underoos And Bird Tattoos - Oh And Pina Coladas And Getting Caught In The Rain

I guess when you are 16 and you get your first tattoo you need to start out small. Justin Bieber has done just that. On his hip, the 16 year old Justin, now sports a bird in flight. As you can see in the picture above, Justin likes his colored boxers, didn't get laughed at by the tattoo artist at least to his face, and Justin's dad was there to record it all for posterity. It seems that the entire Bieber clan is big on tattoos. Mom, dad, Uncle Joe and Aunt Earlene. All of them sport birds. Not flipping the bird or that Twitter bird, but a real honest to goodness bird. Not a hawk or an eagle, that really doesn't seem Justin's style. Maybe a cardinal? Oh, a robin perhaps. Sparrow?

I'm kind of happy that he had the father son moment with his dad. I don't think my father and I have ever shared tattoo time. Oh sure we have each dragged the other out of tattoo parlors and we used to scream Tattoo together when we watched Fantasy Island together, but no tattoos. Now, the world just needs Justin to go through puberty so looking at this picture is not quite as disturbing.

So, that elbow with the classy star tattoo belongs to this kid's dad?

16 is too young for a tat.

It should be unethical for tattoo artists to tattoo someone under 18. I don't care if the parents sign a permission slip. I think 21 is to young for a tattoo, though. People change so much as they grow up; I can't imagine doing something permanent at that age!

I'm uncomfortable with the nip-tweak look of this photo.

Too young!

I remember my grandfathers tattoos from WW1. Not a pretty sight. They run and bleed and look like crap after awhile.

I saw him yesterday on Access Hollywood and the only thing that I see is a child who has gotten way too much too fast.

As far as the tattoo goes I think it's okay as long as it isn't offensive or vulgar on a teenager.

Agree with Jax.
Also, I've seriously had enough of Bieber. Enough!

I thought it was illegal for kids under 18 to get a tattoo.

What's funny is that he still has a lot of growing to do and that bird is going to be an ostrich before he's done.

Yeah I think he's a cutie pie too *L* If I had a daughter, I would approve of her fandom.

I can't even imagine what would have happened to me if I had gotten a tattoo at 16 *L* You should have seen my parents when I actually did get tattoos when I got older. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Oh, and some tattoo parlours will do small tattoos on people 16 and over if their parent or legal guardian is present. Not unheard of. I'd make my kid wait though.

He should have totally gotten the twitter bird. That would make this so much better.

My dad always told he me he'd pay for a tattoo if he could watch.

He doesn't have much faith in my ability to remain stoic.

I don't think tattoo parlors should be allowed to give tattoos to underage kids regardless of parental consent. A kid can't see an NC-17 or R-rated movie even with a parent but they can get an image permanently inked on their skin?? As the criminally underrated comic Yakov Smirnoff would say, What a country!

Oh, and that picture of Beaver looks good because his douche helmet isn't quite so I-blow-dryed-my-hair-backwards-y.

I've always thought that you could make a mint by opening up a chain of tattoo removal clinics. You will get tons of business from people who got an offensive tattoo when they were teenagers/drunken college students and now have to live in the real world. Anyone want to invest?

@ sunnyside-
tats during that time were different inks, and had lead in them. they were pretty gross. nowdays, the inks, colors and tools are much more advanced.

i got my first tat this year, age 50. my body's been through most of it's major changes, the hardest part was where to put it so past and future surgeries wouldn't affect it! and of course, i put my first grandchild's name-- how would i ever regret that?
i'd love to get more, it was fun.
but i DID tell my 24 year old daughter that she could not get one as long as she lived at home.

Thanks bionic bunny, I didn't know that.
