Mariah Taking A Spill vs Katy Perry On SNL
If the Mariah Carey pregnancy rumors are true, I think it might be time for her to stop wearing the stilettos when performing on stage. Over the weekend, Mariah took a big fall while performing in Singapore. Fortunately for her she seemed ok and her dancers would not let her put the shoes back on and held her while she finished her song.
Katy Perry was only supposed to be the musical guest on SNL this week but who could resist taking a shot at Sesame Street. So, Katy Perry plays a girl who sprouted breasts over the summer and who loves wearing tiny Elmo t-shirts.

I love that Mariah video. It showed her true diva side but she also seemed to be surprisingly nice about the incident.
The way the dancers picked her up and steadied her is kind of like how you would help a pregnant woman get up out of a couch or a chair.
I really liked Katy's appearance on "Bronx Beat" - had a major LOL moment when I noticed the t-shirt. However, as pretty a girl as she is, her musical performances were just flat-out painful to watch. Gah!

Can't watch the Katy Perry video but from the picture it looks like just another excuse for her to show off her tittays. It's a good thing she has those. If she only had her lyrics to fall back on, she'd be in a shelter somewhere.
Either Mariah gained weight or she really is pregnant.
Mariah should really just quit trying to stand. We all know she needs someone at her elbow at all times.

Katy Perry is very painful to listen to and, judging by some of her facial expressions, she finds it painful to sing.

I love Russell Brand dearly (most Americans don't get why), and that is the only reason Katy Perry gets a pass because she can be uber annoying. She was a little bit above 'okay' on SNL, but apparently the guys loved the skit and the Elmo shirt. I can't for the life of me fathom why (sarcasm).
If Russell Brand has stopped whoring for her, she just might be something special. Or else she's withholding and if that's the case, I give the marriage 3 months.
Didn't I read here on CDAN that Mariah has a coterie whose job it is to walk next to, behind and in front of her lest she fall from teetering on her high heels? If she falls she lands on a nice, soft minion, lol.
Can't help it, I like Katy Perry. She seems genuinely nice. I saw her first set on SNL and she sounded... okay. Not horrible, not fantastic, but at least she was singing live unlike a lot of the SNL musical acts. Even Eminem lip synced a rap.
For Gawd's sake, people! Stop picking on Katy!
Now I gotta go listen to Teenage Dream. Love that song.
