Kirsten Dunst Will Talk About Anything But Jake
Kirsten Dunst is interviewed in the new Vanity Fair and besides not knowing any of the Smashing Pumpkins references the reporter mentioned, she seemed to answer everything else he asked. Considering how many musicians she has dated, I was kind of surprised she didn't know the Pumpkins stuff, but whatever.
In the interview she talks about how she is getting serious about her craft. She did not actually use those words but when you read quotes like this, it sounds like what she is saying.
"We had more fun on other days. That was a day when I had to be pretty emotionally unhinged. So I wasn’t really in the mood for hanging out and having fun."
Also, to make sure you know she is serious about acting she gets naked in this movie and her next. That is always a sure sign that someone is serious about their craft. That or they could not get any work without undressing.
She also says that for her new movie with Ryan Gosling, she had no idea he was shirtless for most of the movie but did talk about a scene where she was supposed to go down on him that ended up getting cut.
So, yeah, for you Gosling fans, he is apparently naked in the shower with Kirsten. "What happens is, I come into the shower with Ryan, and for my character, it’s a smart ploy. She just found out that she got accepted to a medical college, and he’s afraid he’s losing her. He’s threatened by everything that’s happening to her and he just had this weird moment when he jumps into the water and gets their boat and writes their telephone number on it. What happened in the shower scene, she comes in and we start making out, and I gesture that I’m going to go down on him. And then I do."
As for Jake? Well, don't ask. last night at the premiere of her new movie, several reporters asked her about what she thinks of Jake and Taylor Swift and she kept saying, "Next."

i've always liked her. she has a vulnerability that gets to me. i hope she gets her shit together so she can work for a long time to come.

She's always annoyed me, but that photo is one of the best of her that I've seen. She looks really good there.
Well, she IS a good actress (except when she's doing Spider-man; the first two films are overrated anyway). Maybe she's still sensitive about Jake; anyway, why should she answer questions about an old, old relationship if she doesn't want to?

I am still trying to figure out what people have against her. She is a good actress. She was excellent in Marie Antoinette, and trust me, I had reservations about that casting since I am a history buff.
So what if she likes to party and drink? She wouldn't be the first person in the world who drank alcohol.
She certainly hasn't gone down the Lindsay Lohan road that many child stars have done. As long as she does her job, let her party.
