Christina Aguilera Headed To Rehab?
Apparently Christina Aguilera is thisclose to heading off to a much needed vacation, aka rehab. You know, it will be announced that it is from exhaustion because she has been so busy traveling the world promoting Burlesque. Please. All that was just a glorified European vacation where someone else was footing the bill.
After Christina's Golden Globes moment with Julianne Hough comes news from US that Christina crashed Jeremy Renner's birthday party last week, got hammered and passed out in his bed. Wow, that shows a serious drinking problem and not a whole lot of manners. Everyone knows that if you are going to pass out a party, you do so in the guest bedroom. All you are going to do by crashing in the host's bedroom is make said host angry and get kicked out of the bed at some point, and probably rudely.

Um, if I had to pass out in a bed, Jeremy Renner's would be high on my list of choices. ;)

Agreed with Mookshi. Completely gross, though (passing out in someone's bed).
The facial bloat says it all.
The advantage for a woman passing out in his bed is that they can leave in the morning as much of a virgin as they arrived the night before.
Especially when the host is gay....she would not have been his first choice.

She should take a break, there's nothing wrong with that and maybe she'll learn not to seek for fame so desperately.
Remember that blind about a pop stars managment team wanting her to have Britney type breakdown and then set "them" up for a major comback? I think many of the guesses were Demi levato, but now I am wondering if it is Xtina.

I don't think people would feel the kind of pity that Britney gets because Britney seems organically messed up. Christina seems nasty - tales of her stiffing waitresses, starting mess, smack-talking peers in a passive-aggressive way, etc., are legion. So if her people are trying to generate pity, they are likely to fail.
Nothing wrong with drinking less and getting yourself together, though. It's rough to see yourself change so much physically not due to pregnancy (I assume) or age - she can do much better for herself.
It seems to me she has spent her whole life trying to be another entertainer---like when she wasn't quite Britney and now she is definitely NO Gaga. I have always wondered why a girl with that god-given talent wouldn't be confident enough to do her own thing.

Christina Aguilera -- I have never been able to take her seriously, even though she's launched at least five songs that are masterpieces. I can't forgive her for that whole "I just want the artistic freedom to make the artistic choices that I, as an artist, must artistically make," and so she makes a song with the chorus "Dirty! With people pawing my -- body! Gettin' banged by twenty or -- thirty!" And then in interviews she claimed that she had never wanted to be a pop star, just wasn't into it, not interested, nosiree, nope.
And then every once in a while she turns out a song like "Fighter" or "Hurt" or "Not Myself Tonight" and I acknowledge that she's totally great. Just not personally. Artistically, maybe.
She looks like she's been rode hard and put up wet. No doubt drinking, but my guess is there are more chemicals involved. What a waste! I have NO talent to squander. Life is so unfair.
She is about to get a wake up call from reality. And the sooner, the better.
she's not somebody i care about. i do think, however, that this girl has some incredible pipes, although i rarely like what she sings with them.
she's a mother, so i hope she gets her shit together.
@Joella - I was literally coming on here to comment the same thing. I can totally see her thinking that Brit Brit did it all wrong and she could do it better.

It's sort of sad to see her all bloated and messed up. She's doing more than drinking to get that bloated look. I feel bad for her - I don't have a problem with the 'Diva' thing. The girl has pipes, and qualifies as a diva more than a lot of other singers these days.
Divas like Carey and Aguilera amuse me - they have the talent to back it up, even though they really ought not to think so highly of themselves. It's amusing to hear the stories, anyway, and it's so worth it to feel a combination of elation and disgust reading them.
I also think she got botoxed, because her face looks really different lately.
I think Xtina has always been just a few minutes too late for the party. As someone upthread mentioned, she was "almost" Britney, then tried to be Lady Gaga, and probably tried to be Beyonce at one time I think. Just be yourself honey. You have a great voice and don't need all that other stuff to prove it.
And as for what Joella said, yeah, this totally matches the blind and it would not surprise me in the least if it was her. She doesn't have an original idea in her head....or at least her people don't.
This is why I love this site. All the things I was thinking when I read this (ie: the bloat and "pulling a britney") were already covered. We all think alike :)
