Today, a musician, who is known for his wonderful lyrics he writes for his band and for other groups. Guess what? He doesn’t write his own lyrics. His secret-gay-sometimes-lover does. The two are best friends and the real lyricist prefers anonymity, so the relationship works out well for both.

Good point, Rita. There was a blind recently that suggested that Mayer was shot down for trying to pick up a guy...something he does now and then. "Wonderland" fits. Problem is he doesn't have a band?

okay, but only if I get Adam Duritz. I don't know why, but he's my R&R boyfriend. as opposed to my Monday nite TV BF Richard Castle, my Tuesday nite TV BF Mark Harmon (for when I'm feeling mature), my baseball BF Tino Martinez, my Thursday night BF, etc. I like to keep my weekends free.
It's nice to have a date for every night. : )

John had written lyrics for other bands as well as singers, if not mistaken, I think he won a Grammy or something for his writing.
