Katie's skirt is ill fitting but I like it. The shirt not so much, it's like business on the top party on the bottom.

Cancan - I know I've seen them, but I can't find them. Nordstrom has a number of high-heeled oxfords, and Zappos has some as well. I'd keep an eye on net-a-porter.com. I'll keep looking, though. I happen to be in love with oxfords and loafers. :)

Selena Gomez might be the answer to half of the tweener blinds but I have to give her a hand - she is almost always dressed impeccably. She could give a few of the Hollywood heavyweights a few pointers, or at the very least pass along the number of her stylist.
I love Katie's outfit but the skirt doesn't seem to fit just right. The Spring Breakers look like they want to be taken seriously as grown ups so they borrowed their moms dresses. Kim Z couldn't diet if her life depended on it and she got lipo in the hospital.
Whenever I hear the name Pippa Middleton, I always seem to mentally autocorrect it to "Pippa Longstocking."

Katie's skirt looks odd in that photo. In other photos of her at that event she looks polished and amazing. I love that shirt.
I actually think the candy pack is clever. Since many people become annoyed just seeing an infant or toddler board a plane due to anticipating loud interruptions, the candy and note help soften potential hard feelings and shows the parents are thoughtful of other passengers by providing ear plugs - although I think some might perceive the earplugs to be facetious rather than genuine.
I saw other images of Katie and thought she looked quite good- this isn't a great pic.
Not a reality Kim Z fan but that woman is either wearing a body cincher, sucking it all in, or has had some PS.
OMG, Frufra! Kinney's Shoes. Going down memory lane now. I took tap in first grade.. many, many years ago and got them at Kinney's, too. Mine looked like normal Mary Janes, though.
I like Katie's outfit. I could wear that to work. I'd pick a better pair of shoes.
I also find the baby thing kind of annoying. Had the note not been so cutesy and written as if the babies wrote it, I would've forgiven. And the airplane gives out plugs. Candy and chocolate would have made me happier. And I'm saying that as someone who doesn't like kids but I understand babies crying on a plane. Toddlers throwing tantrums make me mad but babies.... their poor little ears.

That cute note got me all misty eyed. After my daughter's first flight during which she cried hysterically, one kind passenger suggested baby Tylenol about half hour before takeoff. For our next flight i did it and it knocked her out cold and she slept through the whole thing. Now she's a big girl starting college. Memories...

You are so very kind thank you so much! I am extremely proud of her. I remember when she was a baby people told me to enjoy every minute and I really made sure to do just that.
I hate hate hate it when people write things from their babies or pets. I can't help but read them in a fake 'baby' voice.
What parent of infant twins has time to make packets like that? Maybe they should have just offered to buy a drink for anyone bothered by the kids. Screw candy.
My husband and I always offer to buy those sitting next to us (and our 2 wee ones) drinks when we get on a plane! We wouldn't have enough time to make a gift bag.

There is an old Zits cartoon where the first panel shows the mom unzipping her gant teenager...the next few show her playing with the little boy version...the last shows her, sad, while the son wonders why she has been "looking at him funny all day", and she thinks, "if only I had one more day...", breaks my heart, every time

Pugster, my sister-in-law also took the "drug the baby" route. Children's Tylenol solved many problems, but she only confided her secret in a few. I wonder if she flew with you that one time....
