Vivienne Jolie-Pitt Got Paid $3000 And Everyone Is Freaking Out

When Vivienne Jolie-Pitt got cast in Angelina Jolie's movie Maleficent she got paid. Everyone is making a huge deal out of the fact she was paid $3000 a week. Yes, it is a lot of money, but it also happens to be scale for a SAG theatrical feature for a weekly performer with that size of a budget. Technically it is slightly less than $3K, but I think the original report just rounded up the $100. I realize that if she worked every week of the year she would be making $150K at the age of four, but that is not going to happen. The other girl that was cast was also paid the same amount as Vivienne. I am all for great headlines, but the thing is your kids would have been paid the same amount so I don't see the huge story.

Is this amount scale for a speaking role? Or is it because she's 'featured', and not just an extra? IS there a difference made in pay in that instance?

I'm kinda curious if Vivi speaks in the movie at all (or how big her part is), and if we could tell by the scale amount. If anyone knows, enlighten me, thanks.; 8:05 AM
