Random Photos Part Three

Tina Turner on the cover of German Vogue. Looks great. She is 73.

Breckin Meyer and Mark-Paul Gosselaar filming Franklin & Bash.
Not shirtless, but Ryan Kwanten was filming True Blood with
Anna Paquin and Robert Kazinsky.
Diane Kruger strolls through Beverly Hills. This is really casual for her. This is like gym clothes for her.
Eva Mendes practices her royal wave. Oh, and yes, that is a skull in her bag.
Emmy Rossum was probably thrilled to be recognized.
Hilary Duff out with her son who is almost 1. Has to be close.
Hayden P and her new truck. You know, because she is
gangsta.

What the hell!!! Hayden..... Her and Kim k drive me nuts with there cars. They probably don't even know what to use them for besides driving around h wood. I am more jealous of the G that Kimye has been driving then this though.

smash said...

The all blacked out jeep in the last photo is HOT!

Karen said...

Isn't a smart car already like an SUV to Hayden P?

LottaColada said...

To be fair to Hayden, that is NOT her car she just posed next to it as a joke. She said something liked "this should be my next car."

Izzie said...

Go, Tina!

I stopped watching Tru Blood around S4, I think, when it started to get really ridiculous. I miss the Eric & Sookie scenes. Hotness.

Heh, Eva's going to talk to Nic about another Ghost Rider movie. "So I'll dress up in polka dots, and look, here's a skull, and we'll get Ryan to do a cameo and say 'hey, girl' right before... wake up, Nic!"

Emmy Rossum for the celeb you wouldn't recognize blind?

Oh FFS Hayden P. For. F*. Sake.

*True

Lotta I figured it was probable Shaqs or someone who actually needs a large and in charge trunk like that. It is a beast!

smash said...

Truck not trunk ahahaha. Ass like what what what baby in the butt butt butt alllllll night long.... Sorry.

LottaColada said...

@smash- I always see the tiniest people climbing out of huge trucks and some rather large people climbing out of tiny hatchbacks or something equally small, what gives? Maybe this is her bf Klitschko's car or something. He is enormous

Anonymous said...

I do hope that's not Hayden's car, that's just obnoxious, like when those diesel trucks became a thing in Hollywood, people like Ahnold and Asston were driving them around town. Eva's been so damn smiley lately, it's freaking me out! It's like an evil surgeon-clown smile... creepy. I don't know what's going on with her and that skull, but it's nowhere near Halloween so what the hell? ANOTHER sneaky reveal with the Anna Paquin comment Enty??? I like it.

smash said...

That would make sense. My bf thought it was pretty nice. He estimated 100,000 atleast.

I drive a big SUV but I also haul around dobes and camping supplies. I do feel a little silly driving it to the grocery store by myself. Thankfully it is not a huge noticable car like a hummer, I see those things keyed all the time here in Seattlole.

Gayeld said...

Tina really is Simply The Best! I saw her in concert when she was 50 and she still had moves I never will.

auntliddy said...

NOBODY notices Tina's new face??????? Remember her square jaw? Now its round with cheekbones!!!!!!! Wth?????????

P.S LOVE Breckin Meyer, remember how he was always the sweet nice guy loser in the high school rom com's? He looks like a genuinely nice, sweet, affable human being. How refreshing.

Tina's nose looks Jackson-esque, step away from the scalpel, you're a legend ffs!

Yummy MPG!

LottaColada said...

I drive a Jeep SUV and I'm 5'2" but I don't think I could handle a huge car like an Excursion or whatever hayden is on top of.

smash said...

Lotta I so want a jeep! The bf says it would be hard to have two dogs in the car and no room for much else, I disagree! I will have my old jeep someday damnit! I told him that's all I need, me my dogs and the beach oh and him if he can fit hahaha. My parents had a suburban when we were growing up but that had 4 kids. I think a jeep is perfect for 1 or 2 people even a small family with 2 kids.

Smash I love my Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado! It will be passed down to the middle cherub, and I really hate to give it up.

I wish we could all fit into a new Larado, but sadly we barely fit into mine now. Sadly I need a bigger car.

Eva and the skull. It must be for Ryan, he's into those things. His band name is Dead Man's Bones after all. This is her way of showing that they're still together. If she's not walking his dog, it's picking up gift bags with his name on it, always something that could be linked to him. He may not want to be seen with her but she's playing up that relationship for whatever she can get - there are whispers she could be up for Best Supporting Actress at next years Oscar if their movie gets critically acclaimed. I shudder at the thought.

smash said...

Joella we have a landrover from 2000 that is a solid SUV. We have trashed it and put over 200,000 miles on it but it is still chugging along. Our newer SUV is a 2004 and has spent more time parked having problems. There is something to be said about older sturdy built cars like the jeeps, rovers, cruisers and old ford pickup trucks.

LottaColada said...

@Smash- haha don't give in! Granted I only have the teeny one in my avi so I'm not lugging around 2 big dogs like you but if I did, I can totally see them in the back seat no problem!

smash said...

Azure she also has her own dog. A Belgian Malinois. You could be getting the two confused because I haven't seen her with Ryan's dog in awhile.

smash said...

Lotta that's my dream! My two dogs in the bag pulling up to the beach and opening the door. I think it would be a great around the island car when that time comes.

Gayeld said...

@auntliddy. Yes, I noticed. But since I worship Tina, I don't care. She is the definition of Awesome and can do pretty much anything she wants (as long as she doesn't join the Co$.)

Anonymous said...

@smash - I know she has her own dog and they look very different. But the point was, though they're not flaunting their relationship by being together in public, the moment their relationship is questioned ie/ break up rumors, Eva will come out with pictures linking her to Ryan somehow. 2 weeks ago was picking something up at Ferragamo with his name on it. It's not coincidence - no such thing in Hollywood.

Meanie Rhysie said...

@Aunt Liddy: yes, I noticed Tina's face, too. Oh, that makes me sad. :/

It cracks me the hell up when I see teeny-tiny people in bigass trucks (sorry to the wee folk! LOL) and it also cracks me up to see bigass guys unfolding themselves from sardine cans.

paula said...

Tina looks great, but she doesn't look like Tina anymore.

hairydawg said...

lol @ the munchkin sitting on that ginormous truck. I wish it was hers. @ Lotta. I've been wondering if that was your Cairn in your avi. He/She is the spitting image of one I spent 17 wonderful years with. Dreamed about him last night, in fact.

AKM said...

TINA! Not crazy about the work she's had done, but she's Tina Turner. She can do whatever the hell she'd like and I'd support her.

KPeony said...

@hairydawg

You had a cairn too? I had one for 14 years. She was SATAN but I loved her. Was yours from 9th circle of hell too?

Honey Bunny said...

Luvs me some Tina Turner! A great legend!

rightgrrl said...

love me some tina but her face looks a tad over-filled. but she (like dolly parton) are still awesome, no mater what they do :)

Exactly! She looks like Latoya Jackson.

@ KPeony. 9th circle of hell, hahahaha! Barney was a sweet boy, although he did go through a phase or two in his youth where he was quite demonic.

@ Izzie I know I’m going to get flamed on here but I think True Blood is just horrible. I was so disappointed! Full disclosure - I don’t have HBO and I’ve never seen an entire show. The truth is that I was crushing on Joe M. after he did that episode of Talking Dead so I went on YouTube to see what the fuss what about. I popped around watching 10-15 minute snippets and season recaps, etc. It took me about an hour but I got caught-up all the way to season 5. WTF?!

I had NO idea it was so campy and ridiculous. The print ads always looked so sleek and everyone’s magazine covers were sexy and people kept telling me it was all nakedness, blood & guts and sex and I was like “Yaaay!” Maybe I was expecting something darker or more urban like Blade or Underworld? True Blood has witches and people disappearing into puffs of smoke and horrible southern accents. I understand the shows are based on books but Anna Paquin is WAY too old to play that wide-eyed ingénue/damsel in distress. She wanders around unaware of how much danger she’s in on EVERY EPISODE? Joe provides eye candy but all he does is stand around and growl. I have a reasonable suspension of disbelief but that show is like a cheesy Sci-Fi Channel mini-series.

Zombies on the other hand, are TOTALLY real and plausible. Ha!

Tina does look great. The "work" could be photoshopping.
I too drive a Jeep. I have to haul stuff around for work and use very inch of it. It's a commander they only made them for a few years but mines been solid as a rock. Am partial to Subaru's too.

Sometimes I do hear the song in my head that they sang on the Simpsons when Marge got the SUV Canyonero

I tried to make clicky it didn't work :(

I love Diane Kruger, nice seeing her version of dressed down.

When I got rid of my Civic, I wanted a Jeep Rubicon. I love Jeeps!

@CDANreader, I agree. I loved Six Feet Under and was excited about another series by Alan Ball. I couldn't believe how campy it was, I was disappointed. Now Walking Dead? Hell yes! :)

I just went from tiny car to Honda CR V and now dont understand why i
I waited so long to make the switch, I love it. And I still love True Blood so go suck an egg or whatever your sucking preference is.

@CDANReader - no flames from me! I thought the first couple of seasons were interesting (loved Rene and his Cajun accent), but it started to go downhill with the witch orgy. We suffered through s3 and then 4 or 5 eps from s4 and called it quits.

@curlyhairslacker - Walking Dead FTW! Except they need a good female character. I like Rachel the most so far and ty, TPTB, for getting rid of Lori. Mr Thor put a moratorium on the number of times I could snark on Lori per episode.

@Redd, can't suck on Eggs - he was killed! :b

Just popping in to declare my love for the Walking Dead. I caught it on Neflix a few months back to see what all the hubbub was about. SciFi/Fantasy is definitely not my thing. But after the pilot I was HOOKED and did nothing else for the next 3 days. Darryl is a terrific character. Love Carol & love their dynamic. I was happy to see Lori go and like everyone else, can't wait until the day Andrea meets some terrible fate. I like Maggie. I'm not feeling it between her & Glenn though.

Sorry for the OT hijack. Back toyour regularly scheduled gossip!

Sherry said...

Oh thank gawd CDAN, I thought I was the only one who just didn't get True Blood.

Exactly Izzie...I just caught the "not recognized" hint!

Sherry said...

Forgot to add though, that Anna's ass looks AMAZING! there.

Pip said...

Read the True Blood books! They're sorta fluff, but fun! Despite finding the show before the books, the changes bug me to the point that I can't watch the show now. So many awesome things are not in the show, or are there but very different. I think that is partly why I haven't got into reading Game of Thrones, I love the show too much!

Izzie- you're so right, but damn that Eggs was fine!
Puggle- read the GOT books, you will be delighted! The series stays true to the books and sometimes the scenes are just word for word from the book. You will not be disappointed!
As for Tina- I am torn- why do beautiful women wreck their originality just to seem to blend/morph into a mannequin. Tina is an original, I like the original Tina Yes she looks good for her age now, and I might do the same if I had her money but I am kinda disappointed that she doesn't really resemble her terrific original self.

Whenever I see a pic of Eva Mendes I imagine her personality just like her character on The Women. Then I think she's not worthy of my Ryan. Then I go back to pretending she doesn't exist.

Goodnight said...

Gosh I love The Walking Dead. I wish they'd kept Lori's death the way it was in the comic but it was pretty lulzy that she got literally eaten (as opposed to just being bit). Andrea pisses me off mightily, I prefer her in the comic. Love Michonne and Darryl though <3

Is no one noticing the reveal in Hilary Duff's post? Sounds like the baby could be someone else's besides hubs?

Moonmaid said...

I actually like Hayden P. Maybe she is just a very good actress, but she comes off as very appealing and funny in interviews. I know she supposedly had this lurid past, but I don't know if I am buying all of that. I think she is just a suburban NY girl with acting talent from a typically dysfunctional suburban NY family. She's involved in a host of charitable causes too. I have a pretty good actor BS detector, and I think she is OK.

Margaux said...

Hayden looks photoshopped in - she is so little!

Unknown said...

Munchkin indeed. She has no neck nor waist; she looks as though she suffers from dwarfism at times. Also why would anyone trying to be famous not change their last name if it is Kasinsky? Or is it deliberate?
