Tori Spelling Hates The New Katie Holmes
Back in the day when Katie was on Dawson's Creek and Tori was on 90210 the pair met for dinner with a mutual friend. Tori says that Katie was shy but fun and engaging and the pair got along really well. Of course that did not include getting together again in the next decade so how well did they really get along?
Fast forward a decade and Tori says this about their next encounter: “as I sat waiting outside his music room, I heard his prior appointment working with him in the other room. It was some actress singing horribly off-key … That made me feel better. I heard him say good-bye and then the actress walked out of the room. It was Katie Holmes. I didn’t know whether we should hug or shake hands. But the signal from her was immediately clear: Don’t even come close. I instantly got nervous. We clearly weren’t going to catch up on the last ten years. And we certainly weren’t going to talk about her husband, Tom Cruise."
She goes on to call Katie plastic and says that Katie pretended she didn't know Tori had a bunch of kids and that Katie was lying because every celebrity reads tabloids.
If you meet someone for dinner and don't do another for a decade even after you supposedly had a great time then, one person probably didn't have a great time. Does Katie read tabloids? Probably not while she was married to Tom Cruise. Celebrities who read the tabloids are usually celebrities like Tori who rely on paps to make them famous. Throw the Kardashians in this mix and a sprinkle of Lohan and the other usual suspects. When a Katie Holmes makes the tabloids it is generally because something bad has happened like a divorce or Tori Spelling called you plastic in her new book.
