    People were ragging on Kristen's dress, but I think it's pretty and event appropriate...

    Nothing Lupita ever wears ever again will be as beautiful as the blue dress. She looks great, but the blue dress was the pinnacle for me.

    Julia Louis Dreyfus and Julianna Margulies are the class of this bunch. Lupita looks good but not great.

    I hate that the correspondent's dinner has become a celebrity event. This should be for actual journalists.

    And yes, many of those show up. I have a few friends who went, and I never had any qualms about going to the White House holiday party when I worked there years ago.

    @Seachica Our political/entertainment/media complex is almost as bad as the military/industrial complex. Someone in the WHCA said on C-span during the event, "Journalists are chasing celebrities, celebrities are chasing the President". A perfect summation of the WHCD.
