Enty are you gonna apologize to us, when this movie gets negative star reviews and it doesn't do as well as you think it is going to do, for calling her future A list?
Enty, pls stop calling her soon to be A list. I refuse to acknowledge that. Anyway, poor girl. First, she was in a long term relationship with a Scientologist, and now, a rockstar cheater.
I think the new Enty is subtly promoting this movie by always referring to her as soon to be A list. Maaaaaaaybeeee.... In name recognition only. And that's gonna last for like 3 months or so only.
I think 50 Shades will have a big weekend and then will fall off the face of the earth after people see how silly it is. Sorry but she is no movie star material. She did not inherit that X factor from her mom or grandmother.
Unfortunately projections just came in and they're pretty sure it's going to do $60 million over Valentine's Day weekend. I just commented on the Deadline report about it, but I'll repeat most of what I said here; I saw the movie because a friend of mine who works for the studio said I had to see just how bad it is. It's not even fun bad. It's just bad. It's a movie where chemistry and charisma are the main things you need. Dakota and Jamie have none. NONE. He has a tiny bit of charisma. Really tiny. Dakota is like a black hole where charisma goes to die. They have no chemistry and his face without a beard makes him look super young to me.
The worst thing about the movie? It's boring. It shouldn't be, but it is. Really boring. That might be a bigger problem than no chemistry or charisma.
I think she'll end up doing LIfetime movies like Shannon Elizabeth & Elizabeth Berkley.
With the kind of examples she grew up with it wouldn't surprise me that she thinks a man cheating is normal.
I know she went to rehab when still in HS, but doesn't anyone know if she was living with an older man like her mom at 14 living with her dad?
She won't be an A list talent just by reading that assessment. She won't get work especially as a lead actress.
JayJay don't believe you saw the movie. I heard this movie is under lock and key and they really aren't showing it to anyone.
The movie WILL make it big ONLY on its opening weekend because it is VALENTINES DAY. Lets face it, girls would watch this. GIRLS. Not really ladies or women of stature. GIRLS and their horny boyfriends. If this movie opened on a non Vday weekend, then sorry, but it's not gonna earn a dime. They made sure they take advantage of the date, because it's the only way they're gonna earn money. Budget was only 40M. So if projections say 60M, that's a safe assumption of the movie profits already. But yuck, never gonna watch this trash, dakota is never gonna be A list even if this movie earns a gazillion, and dornan is only gonna turn into a typical hollywood actor, from nothing to someone arrogant and douchey.
lisa with the small L, thats what the director claims but Kim K and friends have seen it. Tweeeted about it. That alone is a negation of what sam taylor johnson said. So no, it's not on lock. There are private screenings already.

Cougar taylor johnson only said that the movie is on high security and that private screenings are not done just to make more hype on the movie. Puleeeeeaaazzzzeeee.... Those who hang on to every word she or the leads say are just plain (insert derogatory word).
The book will make this movie open big, not the actors. I don't think Dakota will be able to pull a big movie by her own name even after, which means, she will not be a list
You're both wrong and right. They haven't been doing the traditional process of showing the movie to audiences and getting notes on what they liked and didn't like. But, where you're wrong is that they are showing it to some people at the studio in their private viewing theater. I have a friend that's pretty high up and he invited me.
The trailers look BORING as all hell.
Meh. Vanilla girls and the boys who want to convince them to try a little kink will flock to see this dreck. It'll probably make a decent amount of money.
Dakota Johnson will never be a star. She doesn't have the sizzle of either parent - both of whom were sex bombs in their day. Jamie Dornan has sex appeal and talent to burn (see The Fall) but if he becomes a laughing stock with this thing his career may never recover. That Hunnam fella wasn't wrong.
Given the source material, godawful Twilight fanfiction, this movie was always going to be terrible. It's jill-off material for housewives.
I've seen her on a couple of magazine covers and she is very pretty. She got the best of Melanie and Don.
