It is probably/hopefully only temporary but this A list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner/nominee and moonlights on television has taken back her significant other. Yes, the same guy who has beat her multiple times and cheats on her every chance he gets. This reunion will probably last until just the next beating.

I commented yesterday about my fears that Charlize would take him back, being working together again, the guy can fool her with charm and apologies. I agree that he may have been cheating repeatedly and she found out, but this blind talks about him beating her multiple times and THAT I can’t believe it: Charlize is like a foot taller than him and I don’t believe for a second that she would stay after the first beating.
Sam Shepard/Jessica Lange? They've been spending a lot of time together of late. It would surprise me if he was a beater but he does have that alcohol problem.

Sam has a reputation for being an angry drunk which probably led to his recent DUI but I hope this isn't him. Charlize isn't moonlighting in TV but it could be Halle.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if this were Lange/Shepard, in fact I may have heard something about it years ago but I can't remember. What I do remember about Shepard is that he is into frottage. He does it in bars, at parties, at work, etc. Strange man, hell of a playwright.

Halle has been abused by multiple different significant others. Rumor had it that David Justice used to beat her up when they were married (this rumor goes all the way back to the days of the A-List, back in '04 and earlier). She has given interviews about the domestic abuse she grew up with, too, and people who grow up with that sort of thing often find themselves unconsciously recreating the situation in the vain hope that they can resolve it positively, gain control of it, thus giving some sense of victory over situations they could not control in the past. It rarely, if ever, works.

Auntie is right Olivier and Halle are married not significant. I don't think Halle will tolerate any verbal and physical abuse not with kids around
