This B list talk show host looking for a full-time gig despite her A list name recognition really ticked off a huge multinational chain when she said she would pose with a product they sell, but she didn’t want people to think she actually shopped at the store. Unless of course they were willing to pay her extra. They weren’t.

She pissed off Target at one the celeb events in L.A. She wasn't even close to the biggest name there.

This reveal is timely. I was watching something on youtube the other day and the ad before the video had Drew Barrymore shilling for Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart? Has Drew's acting/directing/producing career fallen that low?
Drew's cosmetic line, Flower, is sold through Wal-Mart, so she isn't shilling for the store itself.
@Zilla1: I understand the brand "Flower" is promoted by Drew Barrymore, but if Wal-Mart is the only place one can buy said brand, then Drew Barrymore is shilling for Wal-Mart, the store that carries the brand she endorses.
Here's an example of a Wal-Mart Vision Center ad (on Wal-Mart's YouTube channel, nonetheless), where Drew Barrymore appears as a celebrity endorser. The mention of the "Flower" brand does not come until the :25 second mark of a :30 second ad. Drew is shilling for Wal-Mart, the store that carries the brand she endorses:

And from the flowerbeauty.com website: "Flower the brand by Drew Barrymore EXCLUSIVELY for Wal-Mart."
Well, whoever is the BI, I'm sure she would be happy to give credit to the company if they didn't tell her she was a competitor. And as for asking for 'more' -- if they offered her what she was worth -- I think that would be a different story altogether.
