In the past, this A+ list singer has ignored anything to do with LGBT issues. She just likes to bury her head in the sand. There is talk she is just going to do that again and not answer any questions or make any comment about her decision to play shows in areas where there are currently LGBT laws coming under fire. Money is her number one motivator. She believes staying away from anything that puts her in the headlines is the best way to do achieve that money.

Honestly more celebrities, especially athletes, than not are like that.
People (passionate fans) tend to forget that [most] celebs have jobs that make them money.
Who can blame her. Most people use issues like this for publicity. They may boycott North Carolina or some such but have no qualms about playing Egypt or some other oppressive place

When it is your own country, you have far more responsibility.
The greatest always spoke out - Lennon, Dylan, Marley, Springsteen etc... I suspect she doesn't like unwanted attention on her private life...
She's as dumb as a post. It's her father or her husband making this bad decision for her but she'll have to live with the consequences.
Let's not act like Beyonce is some indie act that needs the money. Skipping one show, or donating the profits from the NC show to a LGBT charity, isn't going to break her.

Celebs often only care (endorse, support, etc) whatever/whoever will make them money, much like politicians. It's not personal to them, because it's their job. Morons tend to believe the celeb actually gives a rat's ass, and become bigger fans.
I'm on record as having no love and less than no tolerance for Beyonce.

Maybe she just doesn't care. If she isn't LGBT, she may not feel as passionately about THIS issue, but instead is passionate about others. Not everyone has to jump on the same bandwagon at once. We still trade with countries, send diplomats to and accept diplomats from, etc countries where women are treated like servants or second class citizens and can be beaten on a whim or honor killed because someone else doesn't like her lifestyle. I think that is MUCH worse.
Thats just good business.

Why do celebrities have to speak out? Do we need them to be our voice? What's wrong with being about money? If she wasn't you would be talking about how broke she is like you do Kanye.

What a hypocrite! She uses that protest group's complaints against the police, and pretends FOR PROFIT ONLY to be a feminist. Enty is right on, she's sang for dictators and corrupt regimes, she doesn't care about anything but MONEY. She and J are just about the greediest "artists" ever to disgrace the music industry. Why don't the gays and Caitlin's call her out?

Yeah, "..." while your dedication to Beyonce Knowles is touching, I'm with Kno on this one - can't stand the girl anyway. I certainly wouldn't follow her management teams.
My point is that she's a stupid person whose performance/business decisions are made by other people. She likes to sit around watching low-brow tv shows, not having deep thoughts about gay people or anything else.
But you know, it's still her life and her performances so she gets to live with the consequences. Stupidity is no excuse for being a douchebag.
She doesn't need to support every marginalized group of people. She and JayZ seem to be supporting the #blacklivesmatter movement by way of funds and her speaking out in her new music. While I am in support of lgbt people rights, that's not my primary cause. I support and help find other causes and it's ok. This is a free country.
Since many of her fans are LGBT, you would think she'd at least pretend to care. But the BeyHive are also stupid, so most of them probably won't notice.
