ReplyDeleteSophia is way out of her league with these women. She looks awkward and severely uncomfortable. Mr & Mrs Brady look old! She threw her hair into a ponytail and jumped into something in the back of her closet. She looked awful. Last outing at The Met Ball for the two? Think this is probably the last ball anyway. Between now and next year a lot is going to change.

ReplyDeleteThis gala a a prelude to a show opening at the museum. These shows show fashion as art. The designer being honored, Rei Kawakubo is known for her outlandish wacky clothing.
ReplyDeleteUh...do you not know the theme? Comme des Garcons is one of the MOST avant garde designers out there. NO ONE's looks should have been "pretty"
ReplyDeleteHer outfit was designed by the fashion designer whose work was being exhibited. The ones who should be mocked are the ones in pastel prom gowns.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Guesser and Sarah S. The theme is supposed to be Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between. The only person who looks like they paid attention to the theme in these pics were Rihanna and, to a lesser extent, Gigi Hadid,

ReplyDeleteYes, well acquainted with CDG , I never said anyone should look "pretty", rather I said Rihanna looks absurd (I wouldn't think otherwise if it were an actual piece of art either)and that many of the others look like hookers... which they do.
