A big war right now between this A list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner and her people. They want her to sign on for a franchise and have been leaking to the press that she will, but our actress hates the character as it is written right now and thinks it will ruin any chance at another Oscar.

Don't know if it qualifies as joining a franchise or as having already joined a franchise but Charlize Theron is already set up as a potential return villain for Fast & Furious and has herself suggested a prequel for her Mad Max movie.

Why no go full nick cage and get that money after the oscar win? the rock, con air and face off. Now THAT's a movie night in with beer, weed, pizza and friends!

Brie is already signed to be Captain Marvel.
That would be a step down from any kind of Oscar contending movie. A big step down.
