Something is going on. This B list mostly television actress from a very hit long running cable show used to tell a few friends all the details about her relationship with this foreign born A++ list celebrity. Now, she always changes the subject.

LOL, fairly basic logic fail here.
Logically, the only people who could possibly know this are “friends” of Meghan who have personally experienced it. The fact it’s been posted here proves that “friend” has been selling things Meghan told her in confidence to the press.
The fact we are reading this item at all means a) a friend of Meghan is leaking stories about her to gossip blogs, or b) it’s fake and yet another Tumblr stan submit.
I know Harry stans are desperate to believe there is trouble in paradise but “celeb discovers so-called friend is actually a backstabbing user and stops telling them personal info” is not remotely suspicious (actually it would be suspicious if Meghan DID continue to share personal stuff to people she knew were leaking stories about her) and certainly doesn’t imply anything about their relationship.
There is no indication Meghan “changes the subject” around her actual friends, since an actual friend would obviously not be running to Enty about it.
A sign it's getting serious and she has been warned about leaks to the tabloids.
When seeing things she talked about with "friends" end up online, she probably realized if she wants to keep this relationship she better wise up who she confides in.
She shut down her blog and is no longer an ambassador for the fashion lines she had been in the past also.
Agree, she has hit her peak career wise. If she wants to keep the big fish she's probably trying to show the palace she's in it for real.
Her so-called friends are probably leaking to the tabloids. She prob tested them with some fake little piece of info to see if it would make it into the rags.

Her romance with Harry has probably progressed to next level (pending engagement) seriousness, and she's in protective mode now.

I'm old too, but here goes...Tumblr is a blog site, I think? And stans are obsessive/stalker fans (thus, "stans"). Not sure why one would be submitting anything to Tumblr, but here we are.

I think "submit" is being used as a noun, meaning a submitted news item to enty (from a Harry "stan" who normally posts on tumblr).
