Today's Blind Items - The Tapes

I'm calling it the tapes, but it covers all manner of recordings and also photos and other receipts. These go back nearly two decades. This split hasn't made the news yet, but it will soon. They have been apart for a couple of months now. One is an actress who is much younger than her director husband. They are both freaks, although the director very much more so. The actress wants a lot in this split and knows the director is going to plead poverty. He is far from broke but has always worried the feds would raid him or arrest him so has his money carefully hidden and also involves a lot of cash and gold. The tapes the actress has are a bunch of incriminating things the feds would love to have and would put away our actor for the rest of his life. Our actress has no desire to see the tapes go public. She is using them as leverage to get that money. She knows the director wouldn't care if the tapes went public if there were no crimes involved. Our director is not easily shamed or embarrassed. The actress thinks he has millions squirreled away. I'm not sure it is quite that much, but he definitely made a lot with his low budget movies that returned some big bucks. Once the news of their split becomes public, then the timer will really kick in.
