I'm thinking that the 'never as easy as it seems' reference points to eliminating the Lohans. That being said, I have no offering.
Which disgruntled ex is feeding BIs to the NYDN to:
1)Make ex look like a criminal AND a bad parent, thusly killing two birds with one stone, and
2)Convince cash cow child who has shunned them that they really only have their best interests at heart and would have been there in cash-cow-child's time of need.
I too thought the "never as easy at it seems" might rule out the obvious choice of the Lohans. How about Demi Moore. She is certainly a mom from Hollywood and Rumer has been partying up a storm lately.
Just a wild guess though...
(Kathy Hilton might fit too though I think she is more NY than Hollywood.
