I Told You So
No, I didn't pick out who was pregnant or anything fascinating and it isn't some breathless exclusive news. In fact, I'm sure most of you could also say, "I told you so." Michael Lohan only has Michael Lohan's best interests in mind. Lindsay has given an exclusive post rehab interview to OK! Magazine with photos and Michael is all over it. What a shocker huh?
I am so glad Lindsay Lohan appears to be getting some help and she is saying all the right words (mostly-I'm concerned she thinks she can just go to Utah and not have to worry about anything there) as she starts transitioning into the real world. I want Lindsay to succeed. However, I don't think what Lindsay needs is her dad right next to her pushing Lindsay into things she doesn't really need to be doing just so he can earn some money.
Why can't Michael go and earn some bucks and some attention on his own? Selling your daughter's exclusive story after rehab to a magazine including photos of Michael and Lindsay together just makes me want to vomit. Let Lindsay decide when and IF she even wants to give interviews. What Lindsay doesn't need in her ear right now is a parent using his position as her parent to say, "come on, please do this, it will just take five minutes," or "just take a few photos, it will be good."
Each time Lindsay gives in to something like that, it takes away her focus from what is most important, and that is her recovery.
Michael Lohan needs to go back to New York with his Cosby show sweaters, cell phone on the belt, wearing same damn black shoes everyday, shopping at Zales for engagement rings, fake LV luggage toting, shell shocked girlfriend, money grubbing, I think your daughter might be pregnant, alcoholic, jail time serving, worst dad of the year, fake posing when paps are around, taking photos with your daughter with the damn magazine that is paying you in the photo, pimping out your daughter worse than Pimpa, and leave Lindsay the hell alone.

Actually, she could just go to Utah and not have to worry about anything. She needs to get far, far away from both her parents. Utah would be a start, but I'm not recommending it. There are better places in this world for Lindsay.
