Chris Brown's Pastor Must Have Been In The Bar
I'm tired of writing about Chris Brown and Rihanna. I'm really tired of it, but when I read ridiculous self serving statements that are so full of crap I just have to talk about it. I just can't let it slide.
Apparently this whole kick Chris Brown out of the Kid's Choice Awards is gaining momentum. Nickelodeon still isn't going to remove him from the ballot and says it is up to the kids whether or not they want to vote for Chris. Yeah, just like it was random that Britney won so many awards at the Video Music Awards. Whatever. I'm not going to argue about that. What I will say is that, People asked Nickelodeon if Chris was scheduled to appear and they said he was never scheduled to attend. Raise your hand if you believe that one. Please. Both he and Rihanna would have gone. Celebrities do not miss that event. Ever. There is just too much money at stake.
This is the part that absolutely kills me and why I am posting about it. Chris Brown's rep says that Chris has never attempted to get votes to win the awards. WTF? Excuse me? The entire world reported and linked to his MySpace page where he asked for votes. WTF are you smoking that you can say that with a straight face?
Oh, but wait. It gets better. Do you want to know why Chris isn't going to The Kid's Choice Awards? "Chris has been hanging out with Rihanna, working on his music and spending time with and speaking with his mother and pastor." Oh sure. I think I saw his pastor and his mother at the hotel bar or with Rihanna last night when she was in a club until 4am. Oh wait. Is that the pastor on the jet skis with Chris in Miami?
Does anyone ever tell the truth? I think they know that a certain percentage of the population are idiots and they will believe whatever is told to them and will continue to buy his music and tickets and be his fans and this gives them some kind of excuse for doing so. I think he is recording all of this music with Rihanna because he knows he is going to end up killing her and wants to make money off her long after she is dead.

Thank you! I said something similar to someone the other day and you would have thought I told them I stomped a kitten to death. Come on, you know unless the guy gets some serious help and maybe even medication, it won't be over 'til she's dead. That's just the way it goes. I hope to God it won't end that way, but I'm not holding my breath.

Sadly, you might not be too off the mark with your assessment. There was an article in the Chicago Tribune the other day about how the big red flag in this case is the choking. It said that domestic violence that involves strangulation/choking more often leads to domestic homicide.

I want Ent to tell us more about why celebs never miss Kid's Choice and why there is so much money at stake. I had no idea this was such an important event.
Nickelodeon sucks. I had a talk with my kid last night about this fuckery with CB and RiRi. He knew who they were but did not know about the incident between them. They don't cover those type of stories on cartoon network and Nickelodeon. My son watches the KCA every year and I wanted him to know what a piece of shit CB is and what he did. I took it as an opportunity to teach him a life lesson and to tell him about Mommy's own problem with a "mean boyfriend". (Of course, I explained this in terms appropriate for his age...) I venture to say that I don't think a lot of kids know about this incident. Most kids that watch this type of show are pretty young. You aren't going to find many 14 yr olds watching this award show. They are too "cool" for it. I was kinda hoping that he showed so people could boo him but I don't think the kids would even know to boo his ass off the stage. Thank God this asshat did the right thing for once and pulled out of the show. Nickelodeon are a bunch of pussies though. Selling out for ratings. Scumbags.
Oh and if I didn't fear hell so much, I'd totally go to LA and get me a job as a publicist. I can make shit up all day long and get paid for it? Where do I sign up??
I doubt very much that CB pulled himself from voting. He's too much of a cocky snot to pull HIMSELF!
I think someone thought for once that out of sight might be out of public mind. Can I say again how much CB sickens me? He should come with a label that states he might induce nasuea and the need to throttle him.

i have such a hard time on the nik thing... someone i've watched for years hit the big time this year with her show (animated) being picked up by them. now all are waiting with baited breath to see if it will be picked up for a second season. in the mean time, nik owns a lot of the rights, i believe, to some of her characters. go, amy!
