Chris Klein Checks Into Rehab
After his second drunk driving arrest, Chris Klein decided he needed some rehab time. Although I am glad he is getting help, I hope while he is there he gets some help for his attitude too. I think the guy is just doing it so he can try and avoid spending any longer than the four days in jail he will have to serve if he is convicted of this DUI arrest. His publicist had this to say about rehab.
"After recent events, Chris was forced to take a clear look at a problem he has been trying to deal with himself for years. He understands now that he can not beat this disease alone. He thanks everyone for their support as he takes all the necessary steps to deal with his addiction and asks for privacy while doing so."
It is interesting to note that the publicist did not mention Chris was going just for alcohol so that kind of leaves the door open that he might be suffering from other substance problems too.

well i imagine seeing another man drag your child across hollywood claiming she's theirs would drive anyone to drink.
jokes aside, i'm a lil surprised about this, i don't think i heard of his previous dui? i hope he gets the help he needs, he seems like a sweet man.
this is sad. he's seemed lost for the past few yrs.

Ah yes, the old "rehab" trip in an attempt to rehabilitate the image. Yawn.
between his booze and josh hartnett's pill and booze addiction,it's getting harder to decide who is Suri's dad...either way their guilt has festered into some nice addiction probs.
I hope Stepford Katie doesn't get in trouble for not getting her ex into $cientology's controversial rehab program, NarcOnon.
i read that some animal rights group were outraged that he had his dog with him in the car. Personally, I thinks its a helluva lot worse that he endangered every single person on that road.
@Linnea, well yes. Both are bad though.
Maybe he's still mortified over that Mamma Mia tape or was that proven to be a fake? I would be. It made me want to go and hide under the covers.
