Ewan may be drinking just cola and it only appears he is drinking something harder...I remember reading etiquette advice back in the day that said one should never be photographed with an alcoholic beverage in your hand. This is probably why...If you're on the wagon, everyone immediately assumes you've fallen off or else are just a huge lush when looking back at photos.
