Courtney Love Talks About The Bean And Her Twilight Role
As usual when Courtney Love opens her mouth you never know what you will get. See, that is why I think you really have to keep her in mind for a judge on American Idol. Will she get bleeped every show? You bet. Will she show up whacked out of her mind sometimes? You bet. Will she make no sense a lot? You bet. But, you know what, maybe that is not a bad thing for a show that needs a life.
Anyway, this week has been busy for Courtney. She gave an interview to You Magazine and says that Frances Bean Cobain aka The Bean was offered the role of Bella in Twilight and turned it down. Really? Is Courtney just talking smack or using smack because I just don't see it. Then she also said that The Bean was offered the role of Alice in Alice In Wonderland and turned it down.
In news she probably she could have kept to herself but is more believable, she says that Frances gets about $40,000 a month in living expenses in addition to having her housing paid for her. The money comes from Kurt Cobain's estate. Courtney was complaining about the size of it and saying it will cause her daughter to do drugs and then all the money will be gone. Oh, like Courtney. Got it.

Every time I think of Courtney Love, my first thought is "Kurt Cobain's widow." But as she says in this article (and another one recently in the New York Times), that was 17 years ago (wow!!), she probably has trouble remembering him, and he was so very young, barely an adult. Of course, 17 years from now, people will still be thinking of Jennifer Aniston as Brad Pitt's ex, so....

I think the only person who turned down Twilight was Emily Browning. She had just finished a movie and said she was too tired to do it. Wonder if she has any regrets.

Kurt wouldn't have had such a large estate if you hadn't had him killed, Courtney, and then sold him out to the highest bidder. Courtney talks out of both sides of her mouth it's hard even for her to keep track of her own bullshit lies. God I hate this woman.
I've never followed Courtney so don't know too much about her but based on this article it sounds like all of her concentration is directed toward obtaining money from her husband's estate. It's sad that no one seems to be teaching Frances how to maintain financial stability.

I also like the part about Frances not being drug tested. Uh Court, maybe you need some drug testing. It is a lot of money for a teenager but I doubt that she gets $40k spending cash to use as she wants every month.

It's interesting that Courtney's preoccupation is that her daughter might spend it on drugs.
By her own admission, when she was 17/18 she was blowing the whole monthly allowance from her trust fund on drugs and random crap, and making up ridiculous stories to extract even more from the trustees.

As much as I truly hate bashing people I dont really know, the ire that this woman brings up in me is crazy. She is a true sociopath and God help anyone who is in her way or on her path, ie, Kurt. Do we really believe her when she says The Bean is getting THAT much money? I thought she was under the supervision of Kurt's family. Dont believe a word that comes out of her seriously "been around the block a few times" mouth, its nothing but regurgitate shit.
Yeah, I'm not so sure that I believe the Bean is getting that much money. I'm sure she's getting something, but who knows how much it really is? I like the fact that she is rarely in the media and kind of does her own thing. I hope that she shuns the spotlight and money like her father before her instead of turning into another famewhore and shopping addict. *le sigh*
