Interesting Dancing With The Stars Cast
When the dancers on the show are more famous than the "stars" then you really should just call it what it is. Dancing With People You Thought Were Dead Or Didn't Know. Yes, you know most of them, but most people don't. Go ask your grandmother who The Situation is or Audrina Patridge.
Although there are a couple of actual stars in the show, most are not. What makes this cast interesting is that I think despite any actual stars on the show, this could be the best contest the show has had. Every season there are people who have a dancing background and they always dominate. Whether it be ice skaters or gymnasts or singers they always do well and almost always win. This time though only Brandy has any of those qualities. The rest are just fairly normal. Maybe what this season will have is people who have a chance to win and not people who are just hoping to come in third.
It will probably make things lighter, but it will also mean the first few weeks will probably have some really bad performances.
The cast is, The Situation, The Hoff, Bristol Palin, Brandy, Kurt Warner, Jennifer Grey, Michael Bolton, Margaret Cho, Rick Fox, Florence Henderson, Kyle Massey, and Audrina Patridge. I will want Jennifer Grey or Margaret Cho to win.

Are you saying Jennifer Grey does not have a dancing background? Maybe not other than Dirty Dancing, but that was pretty big/intense. And her father's Joel Grey; I can't imagine she was cast in Dirty Dancing without a good bit of previous dance training.
In a million years, I'd never have guessed that was Jennifer Grey in this pic.
I'm still amazed at how that nose job made her unrecognizable.
I still haven't forgiven her for getting that nose job...but I would like it if she won.
Jennifer Grey is a trained dancer. She didn't just learn it for Dirty Dancing.

All you guys beat me to the punch. Jennifer is another one of those unfair advantaged people. Classically trained for dance. No fair. I hope she loses. That said, there is definitely going to be some "untertaining" dancers on the show.
@skittlekitty - Amen, having a dad like that alone gives you and edge. Plus all the training she did for dirty dancing...come on!

Jennifer Grey???? I never would have guessed. I'm not a fan of this show, I only saw Apollo's season but maybe I'll watch this one, just looking for a laugh.

I'll be cheering for Jennifer Grey, 100%. When Dirty Dancing came out, I would get stopped on the street occasionally by people who thought I was her. I had the same hair and nose, and even my mother had to admit I looked alot like her. Post-nose job, no one has ever been able to see the resemblance. Based on her nose job, I've never had any desire to change my ethnic nose and lose my distinct look!

My fave is Kurt Warner ... LOVE HIM!!! I just read on Jennifer Grey's online bio that she has been paired with douche bag Derek. If that is true, I REFUSE to vote for her!

I want Florence Henderson to win. Or Audrina...mainly because I just want to see that beautiful sister of hers in the audience.

Margaret says on her blog that she got the best dancing partner. I have never watched the show but I assume it's whoever the gays like the most.

I'm hoping for Jennefer Grey ot Kurt Warner to win. I want Palin to be the first to go. I have never watched the show and this cast does not make me want to start.

Jennifer Grey looks GREAT for 50. It is quite amazing how different she looks w/out the "nose."
I think this season will be interesting.
I can't wait to see how Audrina does. I'm sure Margaret Cho will provide the comic relief.
