Gaga looks exactly like a relative of a relative (who is also a former friend).
How embarrassingly obvious it is how the Gaga is ripping off Madonna. I'm wondering if her younger fans are aware of it? Instead of listening to her they should just get all of the albums Madonna released in the 80's to mid 90's and buy a compilation of the then released videos on dvd. Why need a copy(cat) if you can have the original?

Naw, Mina. I was a teen/college student in the 1980s and loved Madonna to death.
But Madonna and Lady Gaga are very different. Why?
Because Lady Gaga can sing.
Madonna? Mmmm not so much.

Madonna was a cheerleader/dancer who had the right people writing the right songs for her at the right time. We've seen that repeated with Britney Spears. Gaga is a singer/songwriter who happens to be better at performing than the Disney-trained pop stars.
The closest analogy to Lady Gaga is Bjork. Now THAT'S a career trajectory that would be interesting to watch for Gaga.
I don't know. I honestly thought I was hearing Ace of Base's "Don't Turn Around" with Gaga's last song that's on the radio all the time. And I don't mean just that she sounded like that band that was popular for 15 minutes sometime in the 1990s. I mean I thought it was the same song. Not "inspired" by it but THE SAME FRICKEN SONG with the same beat and even the same voice, just a few words changed here and there. So I'm not giving her the "she's a great songwriter" benefit of the doubt at this point.
i really think madonna and gaga are two seperate artists completely. musically, artistically... they're similar for pushing the boundaries, but that's about it. love that pic of gaga tho, i wish she'd embrace her features and not hide behind glasses so much- she's unique, but still very pretty.

I agree with some of the comments above- Lady Gaga has made a lot of catchy tunes, but it sounds like she ripped off other famous pop songs. And some of the songs sound like Madonna is singing them. Especially Alejandro.
Granted she has the better voice over Madonna, but they seem like different versions of stuff we've heard already.....I can't explain it but I get deja vu every time I listen to her.
Um...even IF Lady Gaga ripped off Madonna, who cares? Everyone in art rips off everyone and everything else. It's called INSPIRATION. And being human. We may not technically be apes, but we are apers.
Art IS essentially ripping something off and making it your own. Madonna rips off Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn Monroe ripped of Jean Harlow. I could go on, but thankfully won't. I just get so irritated. Of course the young kids know who Madonna is. They know who Elvis is, and probably know who Garbo is. Shockingly, other people have the capability of being as self aware as we think we are.
Me: "There are only a handful of performers who, when you say their first names, everybody know who you're talking about. Elvis, for example."
Her: "Oh, Elvis Costello?"
Me: "Never mind."
Lamar and Khloe make one very unattractive couple and it certainly doesn't help that they look so uncomfortable with each other.
All hail the Kathy Griffin! I just read her book and it's a pretty interesting read. I'm a fan of people who know they are naturally annoying and just say the hell with it! and embrace.
