I Hope It's A Bikini But Knowing The Cyrus Clan It Isn't
I want to see the good in the Cyrus family but they make it very, very hard. An example of this is this picture that was taken this weekend of Noah and Miley Cyrus with their mother. Although you cannot see it in this picture, Miley is wearing a white see through shirt with no bra. Meanwhile, her 10 year old sister is showing off her dyed hair and bra while carrying her iPhone. Mom must be so proud.
I know times have changed since I was growing up, but I don't think very many ten year olds wore a bra and they sure didn't wear it like Noah Cyrus is wearing it. I just can't believe her mother lets her go out like that. Does she say, "Noah. Wait honey you need to sex up that outfit some. Oh, and Miley take off that bra so people can get a good look at your breasts. Be proud of them."
I think that is what she says because I can't imagine any mother I know letting their 10 year old out like that. I have been debating whether it is a bikini because of the hair being wet, but the picture was taken at breakfast time and it looks like a bra. With an example like Miley to look to, Noah is going to be a big mess.

I had similar thoughts when I saw this picture. Yes, a 10 yr old can wear a bra if needed. But showing it or implying there's cleavage is all kinds of trash and wrong.
You can hit puberty at 9 or 10 years old, making a bra a necessity at that age. (I know from my own experience.) That said, wearing a bra that is exposed thanks to your low-cut T-shirt at age 10, well, that shit it ain't right. But it's the Lohans, I mean Cyruses. Would you expect anything less?
I hate to be mean, but this bunch is homely and I wonder if anybody even showered before breakfast?
I've seen worse. Its tacky though. As for Miley, she is 17. I have seen girls younger than her wearing far less then a t-shirt w/out a bra. Come to NYC and ride the subway. Your eyes might fall out with some of the nonsense you see there and on the street.

I just realized what it is about Miley that makes her posture look bad. She has no neck. Her head just sort of sits on her shoulders, so she always looks hunched.
And they are Hollywood - rules don't apply to kids in Hollywood...

I remember being embarassed about "developing" and having to wear a training bra. I certainly never showed it off, nor wore one with underwire cause, you know, you don't need support for bee stings.
I was all kinds of upset when I saw this photo yesterday on Dlisted. I'm 26 and don't wear shirts low enough to show my bra, so why in the hell would a ten-year-old be allowed to wear something like that? Way to get the pedophiles of the world all hot and bothered Cyrus Clan.

guys, I agree with the clothes being inapproriate - but I also dont think we should be talking s*** about the way a child looks. I mean, she is a kid and she doesnt deserve to be called ugly, no matter who she is.
Sue Ellen, and it was mortifying when your bra did show. Even when a strap showed on a sleveless or tank top. Now, it's no biggie.
Wow...lots of attention to this picture. I don't know...I really don't see it. I see 3 people who went out for a quick breakfast who apparently didn't put a whole lot of thought into their appearances. It looks to me like Noah may be unfamiliar with the whole training bra thing and maybe the shirt just kind of slipped down. I dunno. I also don't see how anyone can determine whether or not Miley is wearing a bra, but whatever. Noah didn't have a lingerie line, she had a line of children's tutus and clothing. I think underclothes were probably included in the line, but children's underclothes do not equal lingerie, unless you want to include underoos in that category as well.
I think a lot of people are way too harsh on Miley. But that is just my opinion. I happen to like her and actually think she's got it goin on. She sure is laughing all the way to the bank in spite of all the haters.
Patty - yep, it was the worst thing you could ever imagine. I remember when people around me started getting those see through straps and it was the coolest thing ever. Somehow, it didnt matter if those showed!

Yeah, and sometimes when the boys were feeling especially sadistic, they would snap your bra so hard that it would break. Then you'd have to go home, crying, because your Ma told you that you had to wear a bra in public from now on. Good times.
Now girls these days look like they're turning tricks in alleys. Nice. I can't wait to have children.

Oh..and as far as the I phone goes, it could actually be an Ipod touch, like my kids have, but even if not, so what. My kids have their own cell phones and they are 7 and 10. I find them very handy.
Noah did have a lingerie line and there even was Enty's post about it. I also think that some girls need to wear bra at 10, but as far as I remember from those photos Noah is still pretty flat, so she obviously doesn't need it. It also looks like a push-up bra, which is really disturbing at least for me.
Just like I said earlier today on the Playboy-posing blind.
I feel trouble brewing one day for that Noah young-un.

And the strapless bras wouldn't stay up. You constantly had to pull/push it back in place. Ahh, those were the days, haha.
Any way you cut it, any 10-year-old showing her bra is WRONG.

@Sue Ellen, Linea and Patty, I am sitting here remembering being mortified at all those things. When the boys at my school started trying to snap the girls bras, they got detention. I actually miss those times, boys were taught to respect girls and girls were taught to respect themselves. Now these young girls are dressed like hookers and they end up posing on the front of W pretending it is "art" instead of just flashing everything you have got just like a slut. When did this all become so acceptable. it is just so sad

I guess none of you thought maybe it was a fitted top underneath the top shirt. Those I have seen. What I have never encountered is a push up training bra--or a training bra that is any other color but white.
I honestly don't see anything that wrong with that picture. It may be the design of the blouse, too. However, no way would I allow my 10 year old out in those shorts but that's a personal judgment call.
This is a big new fashion trend amongst the youngsters - having bras not just peeking out, but the focus of the outfit. I think it's the girl equivalent of the saggy pants and boxers trend.

I had to get a training bra in 3rd grade & had a bunch of mean ass boys in my class. I definitely was NOT trying to show off my bubbies. I needed one though, I wasn't doing it to be fashionable (which by the way, I notice a lot of adult women doing at times & it irritates me).
A lot of the other blogs are saying she shouldn't be wearing one b/c she doesn't need one. How about just pull your damn shirt up?
