Vanilla Ice Blabs About Madonna
Hey, have you been thinking about Vanilla Ice lately? Me either, but he decided to talk to News Of The World and specifically about Madonna. You remember back in the day, about 20 years ago when Madonna was just entering her 50's and Vanilla had already run through his 15 minutes. Yeah, well Vanilla said that Madonna was great in bed and he loved every second of it, but HE decided to break up with her. Why? Because she released the book Sex. Apparently that is the devil's work.
"But I broke up with her after she printed that book because I was hurt to be an unwitting part of this slutty package. It was disgusting and cheap. We were in a relationship yet it looked like she was screwing all these other people."
Umm she was, and I bet you were too. It is Madonna. I also bet she broke up with him. He just remembers it differently. I totally forgot these two hooked up. I also can't believe it was 20 years ago and we all still know who Vanilla Ice is.

he was sexy back in the day....in a "used to be- weird thinks he's gangta uber-white jock jerk" kinda way. Now, he's just a douche.
I will never get sick of Ice Ice, Baby. It is my karaoke go-to and I am team anyone else but Madonna. ;)
The book was a vanity piece...I've heard it's actually rare now....
I doubt he needs ratings for his show - it is awesome.
BigMama, I love to talk about this because he is my one celeb encounter, but he was way more of a douche back in the day! I got to sit in on a video shoot, and he was a total asshole to everyone.
Agree with RocketQueen. Madonna's 15 minutes should have been up a while ago. Now, she is just a characture of her previous self, trying to maintain the image. Plus, she is starting to pimp out/um promote her daughter. I'm getting tired of the entitled celbrity kids too.

I have that book, it was scandalous back than lol. A friend gave it to me. Can't remember if she got the book for her lover or what but I still have it in it's original silver tin cover.

I would never describe Madonna's fame to '15 minutes.' That's reserved for the Snookis of the world.
Vanilla Ice was a very talented dancer IRL. Seriously, if you avoid looking at the hair and costumes, he had a great natural talent. I always assumed that's why Madonna got with him, because she recognized it.
But I agree that it probably was not the relationship he thinks it was.
I have nothing against the guy, he took his 15 minutes of fame and did nothing with it and Madonna..well not a shocker, she has always use people for her benefit.

This is the second time in a week that Vanilla Ice has come up in my world. My 65-year-old Mom was telling me how she and my Dad watch his show every week and love it.
I caught a couple of episodes from S1 of his new show on HGTV. I was surprised by how much I liked it ... and Vanilla Ice himself. His music was awful back then (yeah, I'm old enough to remember "Ice Ice Baby") and I'm sure he can be a douche. But he really seems to know a lot about home renovation. He also seemed to take it seriously, doing much of the work himself instead of just posing for the cameras. I actually want to set a tivo season pass to watch the more. Go figure.
I either forgot or never knew they dated. But I guess who DIDN'T Madonna "date" (sleep with)?

I immediately started singing "Ice Ice Baby" in my head when I saw the title of this article. It's a timeless classic.
I didn't know that Madge and 'Nilla bumped uglies. I learn something new every day here.
Incidentally, Madonna's Sex book is going for a couple hundred on eBay and Amazon.

i would find his comment about the "slutty package" more believable if it weren't for the fact that he's also featured in a number of the book's shots. like this one:

I lost a copy of the Madonna book in a breakup. Funny how I don't miss it in the least, even if it is worth $200.
sunnyside, apparently he's been renovating homes for 7 years now. He's really good, both at knowing what he's doing, and at leading his crew.
He always brings up Madonna. I think it is getting really old. Madonna always slept with the flavor of the month and he was "it" for a moment.
I thought that Sex book was put together in a very cheap way. I saw it and was not impressed.
It seems Madonna is still lost in the early 90s by the way she does everything these days.
Vanilla Ice is on Dancing on Ice here in the UK, so guess he's looking to win votes for that...
