Brooke Mueller Is An Idiot
I have tried to give Brooke Mueller the benefit of the doubt. She is the only interesting part of the Paris Hilton trash on television and I have been caught up in wanting her to succeed in her recovery and have been really disappointed she keeps relapsing. Although I am willing to maybe take her side and say her pipe the other day was for pot like she said, my next question would be wtf are you smoking pot? Do you think you are going to be able to stop at that and not move on to crack and all the other drugs you do? Stop kidding yourself. The thing that makes her an idiot though is what friends of hers are telling TMZ and that is she has been hanging out with Charlie at his place and maybe going to get back together again. Yeah that worked out really well before when you went to the Bahamas with him and his porn stars and ended up in rehab for a few months after just a few days with him. Here is what is going to happen. You will start doing so many drugs with him because he is paying that you will end up killing yourself and leaving your children behind to be raised by your awful mother. Yeah, I said it. Her mom is awful. Just because you watch the kids, does not make you a great mom. I don't think the mom is evil, just an awful mother.

I think it was parissucks who said the other day that Charlie and Brooke have an agreement now whereby neither is required to do drug testing. Yeah, these two together is a GREAT idea.
Why do these people have children in the first place?
Everything else aside, the names alone that he has called her and the public threats against her should make her refuse to see him at all except with security present. I will have very little sympathy when she ends up dead.
On the plus side, Denise Richards couldn't have paid money for all the great PR and goodwill she's getting as the least crazy member of this train wreck. She is staying out of rehab, doing dog rescue, tweeting about her kids and generally looks like a shining light of virtue and clean living next to these people, despite where she may have come from or how she and Charlie may have met.
Side note: It is not easy, when you have a great body like Brooke, to find a dress that makes you look like a shrink-wrapped sausage. Have the drugs rendered her blind, too?
Again, why hasn't anyone in Charlie's family stepped to help with boys? Doesn't he have two brothers and a sister? Two parents? It sounds like the bad grandmother is the only one who will take care of them so that makes her better than all of the Sheens/Estevezs.
What is so awful about the mother?
Rose, from what I remember, I think a judge has given her mom custody in the past, so it may not be up to Charlie's family.
Thanks Mooshki, I don't really know what's bad about her other than enty says she is bad. I just wish he would stop saying Denise needs to step in.
i think brooke has been Charlie's emotional punching bag for so long, it's all she knows.
So going back to him isn't a far stretch, especially when he has a silver platter of coke laid out in front of her.
Those kids are going to grow up like Weston Cage no rules, no boundaries and all the recreational drugs with dad you could want.
Unfortuantely, There is only so much you can do for an addict and at some point you have to separate yourself. The Sheen/Estevez family, like any family who has an addict, has dealt and suffered through this for decades so I am not really sure at this point what could or should be expected of them. I'm sure they are hurting watching all this happen, but what can you do? Charlie is a 50 year old addict who obviously cannot be helped. At least not now.
As for Brooke's Mom being "bad", why? Is there something we don't know? Unless they are supplying the drugs, I dont think it is right to blame the parents or family members-especially those of of grown ass folk. It is not like they are teens still living at home where you still can have control over them.
Timebob, I appreciate your compassion. And I want it to be clear that I understand and am sensitive to issues surrounding abusive relationships, etc.
That said, I do have a problem with seeing Brooke as a victim. She's undoubtedly fucked up and needs help, but she is the way she is because that's who she is as a person. Everything I know about her (which, granted is secondhand, so I could certainly be wrong) tells me she is not so much a victim of drugs and low self-esteem as she is a manipulative, shallow emotional infant who puts her own immediate needs and gratification before anything else in her life.
Ugh, I just can't stand this woman. She and Lilo really push my buttons.
Charlie may not let his family help with the kids. Isn't he pissed that they don't stick up for him.

Drug addicts often substitute one drug for another in an attempt to break their dependency on a drug. It generally doesn't work, and the best solutions usually require changing a person's milieu completely and breaking contact with active drug users. Mueller is ensconced in drug addiction and flagrant drug use (the name Paris comes to mind), and she appears to be completely uninterested in leaving that world. Her marriage to Sheen introduced her into a glittering world of celebrities that she will never be able to leave. All the while, she knows she's there because she boinked Sheen, and that's got to be psychologically debilitating. I don't see this ending well.
Incidentally, many of you who think you haven't seen crack pipes have seen them several times. They are sold in convenience stores: they are small three-inch glass tubes with corks at both ends, containing a little plastic rose. As a former addict, I always shake my head when I see them sitting on the counter of a convenience store next to the lighters. You buy one or two, pop out the corks, discard the flower, then stuff steel or copper wool into the tube and drop a rock onto it, then tilt your head back. It's a sick world!
Sorry for the many postings, but I have to correct one thing: "former addict" suggests that I can now use drugs gracefully or that I am no longer an addict, but as we've all been schooled to understand, addiction is a lifelong progressive illness, so let's cut the "former" from that phrase.
Since posting that, I've been thinking of all the crack pipes I've seen for sale everywhere. I'm currently in a little town in Eastern Washington (enjoying the summer before a new training program starts in the fall) and both of the convenience stores near my lodging sell those quaint little roses in glass tubes. They sneak by because few people know what they're selling. Weirdness.
