Nancy Grace Is On Dancing With The Stars
I don't know how Dancing With The Stars producers managed to pull Nancy Grace away from railing against every criminal in the world, but somehow they managed to do just that. Probably has something to do with how much she loves seeing herself on television. She is so well known that as long as she is not a total klutz when it comes to dancing she should get pretty far.
Last night, the entire cast of the show was named and they are:
DAVID ARQUETTE - I hope he stays on a long time solely because of the entertainment value.
NANCY GRACE - Will stay on a long time because she is well known and there do not appear to be any great dancers.
CHAZ BONO - I just don't think he has much dancing talent and will only be staying around because of his mom.
RON ARTEST - If he wins at least you know his money is probably going to charity.
HOPE SOLO - World Cup soccer player but does anyone really know her to give her popularity boost?
ROBERT KARDASHIAN - I hope he and Kristin go out in a week one double elimination.
KRISTIN CAVALLARI
CARSON KRESSLEY - Will work hard because he wants to be really famous again.
RICKI LAKE - Has a chance.
J.R. MARTINEZ - Soap stars always do well.
CHYNNA PHILLIPS - My pick to win the whole thing.
ELISABETTA CANALIS - Almost as bad as getting on the show because your sister made a porn tape.

Although with this bare bones cast list, I fully expect that by episode 3, a fake romance or feud will be brewing to add extra punch and at least TRY for some viewership.
So has Chaz already had the vag turned inside out? I think I read somewhere that he's now a legal man, and has had the double mastectomy, but what about the peen construct?
My vote is going to JR Martinez. He's a "regular guy" - former Iraq vet that was terribly burned and now an actor on (the soon to be cancelled) All My Children. Not a great actor, but a lot of charm and personality. Good luck JR!

I'm usually not too thrilled when I first hear the line-up, but always get sucked in anyway.
I've never seen an episode. I just like Ricki Lake and Chynna Phillips.

Carson Kressley was on that show who's name I can't think of right now - with the 5 gay guys that concentrated on fashion, food, furniture, etc...
No matter what the line up, I will watch faithfully. I'm rooting for Carson - he will look spectacular and make sure his partner does too. I have Nancy Grace to root against. I always need one of those. I hope David takes it somewhat seriously - I do not like when a celeb treats my show like a joke.

Have to put my two cents in, I don't watch the show. But, lately there is a missing baby from my former hometown of Ludington, Michigan. The "father" took off in his car with her, the Mother called the Police when they found him 3 hrs. later at his parents house he had the baby's clothes wadded up in his pocket. Of course, "No Baby" and he refuses to tell where she is. The Mother passed the polygraph. He refused it and refuses to tell where baby is. It's been since June 29. I know that the Police finding the clothes means what I thought the moment I heard about it. Nancy Grace has talked about it on her show and gotten it Some much more exposure. There is always the hope that he gave the baby to someone else. I know, but you can always have a tiny bit of hope. Nancy Grace's involvement has been a big help, small towns don't get the attention bigger cities do. So I hate Dancing with the Stars and Nancy Graces strident tone makes me turn the station.
If Ricki Lake's presence brings John Waters to my TV, then all is well with me.
Kind of going with Ron Artest. His height will be an issue, along with his attention span, or lack of. But if he can land a strong partner, he might do OK. And he supports bringing attention to mental health issues. So Detroit melee aside, I think Ron is an alright guy.
I agree Grace seems to be a good egg, if a little abrasive -- but I've only seen her on her recent courtroom show. She left that to be in the same city with her kids (the courtroom show's producers would only shoot in Atlanta or NY or something, and her family's in L.A. -- anyone?)
I've never watched and never will watch this show, but hey! I've actually heard of 3/4 of these people this time!

Re: Chaz Bono - many F to M transgendered persons do not go for the full gender reassignment surgery, simply because it still can't really be done all that well, from what I understand. Yes, Chaz is now legally male, just happens to still have a vagina. Your genitalia doesn't necessarily dictate how you identify...

Ricki Lake was awesome in Cry Baby and whatever that other movie was. But those were 20 years ago.
I doubt Ron Artest prize money will be going to charity. He owes around a million in back taxes in Wisconsin.
Nancy Grace is pretty cool. She fight's for children and everything. I would like a career somewhat like hers. I mean, I would have to finish college and then go to a pretty great law school, but I bet that won't be hard. Elle Woods did it lolololol! Then after a few years of practice, maybe I can be on Dancing with the Stars! :P
