Wow, it's really a shame that Tori Spelling couldn't have been book-smart and gone to college and become, I dunno, a nurse practitioner or anthropologist or something. Yep, tragic that she felt *compelled* to try to make it as a "celebrity" in Hollywood. Cuz, hm, how do I put this? Cuz the girl is fugly. She just is. Skinny or chubby, pregnant or not, pre- or post-plastic surgery, she's just a painfully unattractive woman.
The irony is, if she'd just left well enough alone with her natural nose and smaller boobs and something approaching a natural hair color, she could be really interesting-looking, and I mean that in the best (French) way.
But instead, she's trying so hard to fit into some kind of Hollywood Barbie model, and the results are just sad.
Chaz looks like he would be a bully. Got that intimidating look about him. Hopefully DWTS will help him drop some weight.

Long flights ARE cold...and Adele is just so awesome that I don't care what she wears. At the VMA's, she went on stage with nothing but a piano player and her voice, and completely SCHOOLED everyone there. It was a thing of beauty.

I saw Chaz interviewed the other night and he got a little huffy with the CNN reporter (the cute black guy who just came out). Chaz just rubs me the wrong way.

Milian looks like a straight-up whore. I'm not even going to try to be nice about it. Her kid is cute, though. But I'm not so sure why she felt the need to wear a tutu out shopping.
Chaz is super annoying. I know that I'm probably projecting a lot and am way off base, but it seems to me like Chastity felt uncomfortable being a chubby girl, but then once she became Chaz he didn't feel any embarassment about just ballooning up. I'm not AT ALL saying that's why he had the surgery, I'm saying that it seems to me as if he felt it wasn't acceptable to be an overweight female but is fine being a big fat guy.
Pettite, by the way, is an asshole. Knew him (slightly) in high school, knew him when he played for the Astros. Asshole. And there's a reason why he's called Andrea Pettite. It's because he whines like a little girl every time someone wants him to do anything.
I'm practically hyperventilating looking at Adele. Seriously, Houston could double for hell right now. It's that hot.

When I see Chaz I just see someone who is having serious depression issues. He radiates it.
Adele could rock a beehive, florescent crocs, and a Mrs. Roper muumuu and I'd wholeheartedly salute her ensemble. She is entirely awesome.
I imagine that Chaz Bono has had an *enormously* complicated life, and it upsets me when people rag on him for his appearance...but I've gotta admit that the multitude of K-Fed comparisons I've come across are also dead-on. I'm nervous for him. I wish he weren't going on that dreadful show.

The last time I was in L.A., all the women were kind of dressed like Christina. Santa Monica Blvd was full of spindly heels, lots of straw-textured hair, and leathery skin. Hawt.

BTW, I am not AT ALL ragging on Adele's outfit. I actually think it's great. I would totally wear it myself. I'm just saying it's August in Houston and it's hard to look at people wearing any kind of cold-weather gear without dying a little inside.
Ida, nope, the whores in Houston are pretty much the same as everywhere else, I think. This Milian person, whoever she is, looks slutty. A belly top, denim short-shorts, and FMP hooker heels? Nice image she is presenting to her daughter. She looks like she should be working the lunch buffet shift at one of the airport area's better gentlemen's clubs.

...Long time reader, first time poster...I agree with brendalove@gmail.com re: Chaz; there's always been(seems to me)this pleading/sadness in his eyes...and Ashley Tisdale looks a lot in that picture to mexican actress Geraldine Bazan, who has a baby girl with actor Gabriel Soto...
Milian looks mostly okay, but the shoes make that outfit very trashy. Her daughter is absolutely adorable, kids that age can wear a tutu shopping, it looks cute.
As for Chaz, he is still biologically about 50% a she and that cannot be easy. Has Chaz had a complete hysterectomy or was it advised against for some reason? Anyway, I think the mood swings and weight gain are going to be issues for him on DWTS and since the hate has been reigning down on ABC since the announcement on Monday, he will probably be one of the first eliminated. Kind of a sad situation all around.
Don't think the Weiners are really on vacation together. I think his wife is working there and he's just tagging along.

-First of all you're projecting and assuming so many things in your comment that I just took this snippet because it offended me the most. Firstly you are saying that overweight women feel so bad about their self image that they disassociate themselves with the entire gender of being female. Uhhhh, and then you are saying that Chaz Bono who was born biologically a woman but did not feel comfortable in her own sex and finally is correcting what must have been almost her whole life of uncomfortablitity in her own body- you are simplifying her journey toward a more postive self image/esteem/outlook, all on the bargain basement psych analysis that she was just a chubby girl and its 'easier' being a fat man?!

@Texshan- Im not casting a blanket statement of character over your entire self- Ive seen you post on here for a long time and have agreed with many of your comments (for what its worth).
But all I got to say is-Own your words- you posted your feelings at the time, true, but to A) make your words sound excusable by saying that you prefixed your statement that you might be way off base and projecting- girl, you still made those assumptions! Are people NOT allowed to have emotions come up when reading what you said?! B) Your last post about being targeted for your thoughts makes you sound like you've cast yourself in the victim role and me and kate are the big bad wolves. Notice I said I thought you were sounding ignorant- I meant purely about this statement in this post about what YOU WROTE, it wasnt a dig at you being an asshole BUT when you make comments that sound sweeping and just wrong, know that sometimes people, especially people like me who know some transgendered people, are gonna call you on just sounding wrong, which I still believe you are. I wish you would have read what I said and soaked it in and maybe responded with a different perspective and we could have possibly had a short lived but productive dialogue about it- but you didnt. OK, Jasmine. I think that your second post made your position clearer to me. Obviously, I have no idea what Chaz Bono's thoughts or feelings are. I certainly never wished to imply that I did, or that I thought Chastity became Chaz so he could eat all the donuts in the world. My thoughts were more along the line of how society tends to castigate fat women (see: Kate), but tolerate fat men. Perhaps I should have expressed myself better.
On a final note, I am on a completely different political team than you, based on some of your previous comments on this site. I have been offended by some of the things you have said on here over time, but I've let them go, for the most part, because arguing on the Internet doesn't accomplish anything.
I don't like to get in the middle of arguments, but at least Texshan and Jasmine are being respectful of each other while they disagree. Kate on the other hand is just launching low-blow personal attacks for no reason at all. That's the definition of troll.
And by the way, kate - I'm 5'7 and wear a size 2, so I have "those legs" but still save my 5 inch heels for going to parties and bars. They're not part of my everyday-wear. Does that make me a lesbian too?

I don't really know why I am jumping in to this debate, but here I go...
If you look a little closer at the pic of Christina Milian, it seems as though she is in a shoe store. Could it possibly be that she is trying on the shoes in question? Her clothing ensemble says to me cool & casual, so its possible IRL she was wearing cute flat sandals. I am just projecting here though. And for what its worth, I am ambivalent about Christina Milian although I did think "Man of the House" was a cute movie (Hook 'em!).

My problem with Texshan's comment was the slut shaming. It would be nice if women would stop tearing other women down like that, particularly when Christina looked fine to me. So women are supposed to change how they dress when they become mothers? Please.
OK, if she is in a shoe store, and she is trying those on, then it totally makes sense and I'm down with it. My issue was the ensemble as a whole, not the individual parts. If she were wearing those shoes with an evening outfit, or whatever, and was out at night, then cool and good for her for being able to wear them without wanting to slice her feet off at the end of the evening. Likewise, the shorts are fine if you are wearing them with appropriate shoes -- sandals, flats, heck, even sneakers. But the whole look all together just looked trampy to me. And I can guarandamntee you that if someone was swanning around Houston in that get-up, I wouldn't be the only one giving her the side-eye. People just don't dress like that here. Perhaps they do in LA, even though I've never noticed that when visiting.
RQ, I don't have any problem with slut shaming. If someone is going to dress or act trampy (this goes for men, too), then they shouldn't be offended when people treat or think of them that way. I don't think being promiscuous -- or consciously projecting that image -- is something to aspire to. This is MY opinion. I'm not saying everyone should share it. Likewise you shouldn't expect everyone to share yours. And no, I don't think women should dress like schoolmarms once they become moms. But I do think some looks are more and less appropriate at different phases in people's lives. I'm 42 years old. I shouldn't be wearing Daisy Dukes, even if I had the body for them, for example.
