Demi Moore Trades In One Dog For Another
Well, at least Demi Moore knows her loves will probably not cheat on her and will not end up in the tabloids half naked with someone else. Sometime in the past few weeks, Demi Moore brought home three Chihuahuas. There is nothing like the love of an animal to keep you content. Three of them at the same time? That is quite the undertaking. My only hope is that Demi is the one actually taking care of them and has not passed them on to some household staff. I also hope the dogs were adopted and not bought.

Not a chihuahua fan personally, but I am glad she got someone who will love her unconditionally.
I met Demi years ago, and she was in love with my dog. Pet her non stop. It was very sweet.
I agree with the others. Glad she got dogs rather than a new guy. And it is actually usually easier to have multiple dogs than just one. Dogs have a pack mentality and most (not all) don't like being by themselves, so when the owner is away they entertain themselves (or get into more trouble - LOL).
It takes 3 chihuahuas to make one whole dog.
Dogs are the best, but if mama's away a lot, it's good they have each other for company, too.
That dog was not bought. I surely hope you actually know Demi, because you're pretty rude with your comments about her dogs, weight, everything...it's bizarre.
Chihuahuas are fantastic! I had one and a chihuahua/whippet mis, both just adorable wirh wonderful personalities. As soon as we can, we're going two adopt a couple more. Good move Demi!
The dogs will certainly treat her better and when they sh*t all over her house .. at least it will be expected behavior .. rather than the last metaphorical dog in her life.
Ans .. sorry .. but who cares if she bought them from a breeder or adopted them. I am really over the whole "you must adopt" crap. Bully for you if you can adopt, but some of us with peculiar allergies and skin issues can't and need specific dogs - if we even have them! I am tired of feeling like sh*t every time I mention I would like a dog and someone shoves the "you must adopt" thing into my face. Uhm .. no. Actually I need to go through a breeder, but thank you for assuming you know everything about me and are apparently more intelligent than me and think you can dictate my behavior. Gggggrrrrr!!!
Okay .. I had better jump off the blog for a mo to remove the corncob that has apparently been lodge up my backside. Sorry .. my Christmas was beyond horrid. : /
@Wil, I agree with you, but unfortunately we are a rare breed around here. Sorry, no pun intended. I got into a huge argument with a few other posters on here a while back. Its mostly falling onto hyper sensitive ears.
@Wil - the only reason most insist on adopting Chihuahuas, is because of that douchebag Parasite Ebola Hilton who had started a trend. Dog pounds are overflown with mistreated/abandoned chihuahuas, mostly in Calif. So instead of going through a breeder, do the humane thing, and see if you click with a Chihuahua from your city pound, and save a life.
Trust me, they will love you for it, and you can feel their thankfulness for giving them a home/saving their lives.
As for allergies, no one is stepping on your toes for this one. Go through a breeder.
And for a shitty Christmas, I'm very sorry and hope the New Year will bring you much more joy!

@Wil, Hear! Hear! I too think the whole "must adopt or tsk tsk" tirade is bullshit. Do those same protesters adopt children instead of having 'their own'? Not bloody likely.

I agree that not every can adopt. It's fantastic if you can, but I think it is okay if you don't, too, just as long as you do your research for a responsible breeder. Just because a breeder only has one or two female dogs, doesn't mean that they aren't a puppy mill. Ask for references and ask how many litters of puppies the dog has whelped. There was a completely evil woman around here who was breeding her one dog CONTINUALLY!! As soon as her puppies were only four weeks old, she'd sell them and the loss of the puppies would cause the mother dog to go back into heat and she'd be bred again. Please, please, please do some background checking on your breeders.
Parasite Ebola Hilton. LOVE it! Here in upstate NY we are suckers for used dogs so, a bunch of Chihuahuas were shipped here and snapped up. My last two were recycled, the current one from out of state. Its not for everyone and you can never be sure why a dog was given up but its worked well for us.
Regardless of whether they were adopted or purchased, used or new, they will certainly help her heal her heart. I believe all pet owners can attest to how their furry loved one has helped them through a very tough time. My cats, Lucy & Ethel were lifesavers when I broke up with my fiance. I would have been beyond lonely without them having been there.
FWIW, there are rescue groups who specialize in saving particular breeds of dogs/cats, so it doesn't have to be an either/or situation--you might be able to adopt a pet AND get the kind you want or need. Win/win, is what I'm saying... :-)
There was/is a group known as the Gothic Cat Rescue that specialized in rescuing black cats (who tend to have a much lower adoption rate), and I know they're not the only ones. (If you're in Athens, GA and hit the Athens/Clarke County cat shelter, say hi to 'em for me and my Jezebel. Jess is a tortoiseshell, and they told me that torties have a hard time getting adopted because people think they're ugly. Can you imagine?!? Some people...)
well, if she adopted them, i hope she is at least honest, and doesn’t hide the fact that they were adopted from them. god knows the years of therapy that will cause. they don't look anything like her, though after all her plastic surgery, i'm not sure there would be...
