I would have shat my pants though. I don't go camping or hiking because there might be bears. If I saw one in the city, I'd be very disappointed *L*.
I can't get enough of @TheGlendaleBear! I saw an interview with that man later, he said he was texting his boss to say he might be late to work because something was happening in his neighborhood as there were news helicopters all around. Little did he know he was about to become the news.

Teddy the Problem Bear woke up hungry and decided to venture down to monkeyland to sample from the weekly food sacrifice containers. Things quickly went wrong as monkeys both airborne and ambulatory gathered in great numbers, reacting in a noisy and hostile manner to his interruption of the ritual. Teddy approached an unusually calm monkey, just emerged from his box and advancing down his path, in order to seek guidance on the proper protocol for the ritual.

Our old neighborhood was close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and so we got bears wandering our neighborhood pretty frequently. My husband was standing outside talking to our A/C repairman one day, when in mid-sentence the guy shouts "HOLY SH**!" and points to the street, where Mr. Bear was making his way down our street, presumably to find something to eat.
Now THERE'S something you don't see every day!
