It is finally happening. This B list actress who is known for basically one role flew out for meetings with attorneys and the father of her child. Apparently the father has not been paying what he promised because his significant other still doesn't know that he is a dad. The actress says it is put up or shut up time and will tell the world everything unless he follows through with his agreement.

Whether he was married or not, he still fathered a child, and that child is entitled to support from his father. She threatens to go public in order to get the father legally named the father. Once that happens, she can go after the child support in the courts.

I love how we need to issue moral edicts as to how people shall behave.

Judgement, my lord! The way I see it, if it is Sudeikis' kid (who lives in NY for SNL, where she'd have to fly out to) they were DATING for a short time. If she got pregnant from that, so what? Not her fault he's dating someone new he can't be honest with. Because it takes two people to have a baby. If she chose to have the baby, that's her choice but she can still rightfully expect child support. If the guy were so adamantly against it, perhaps he should have been sure more precautions were taken.

Any man who doesn't want to be a father should wear a condom or get a vasectomy. Used properly, condoms are almost failproof, just about every form of female contraceptive can fail for unexpected reasons. Also, its your sperm, so control it if you don't want it to grow up and become a monthly payment.
As for the slut shaming and sisterhood... yes, I wish that women would be far more kind and considerate of each other in general. I've seen this for my whole life and I was conditioned to be a part of it - from competitive cliques in HS that hated everyone who wasn't in our clique even if they were perfectly decent girls, to going to bars with my girlfriends and making rude comments about every other woman there (there's a comedian who does a bit about this) to allowing co-workers to describe a female employee as a bitch when she did the exact same things as the 'motivated' or 'respectable' male employees. Ladies, we all do this. Heck, we do it on this website every day. We're human, but yes, perhaps we should try for better.

Did anyone see Jason Sudekis' episode of "Who Do You Think You Are?" I always think of that when I read these blinds and it makes me sad for him and the baby if he's really the father. He has a really tragic family history of men abandoning their children/wives, and it could almost be like he feels it's in his DNA to be fated to be a deadbeat dad. Not an excuse at all, but adds an extra layer of messed upness to the situation.

my ex was having an affair (well, that's generous. he was fucking anything that would allow it). and i held only him accountable. you, and you mom, and your siblings deserved better than a "man" that won't commit to their family. be glad he left.
sometimes it seems as if there are only 2 choices; a) blissful happy family/staying married, or b) horrible life/divorce. but that isn't the case.

i remember the matthew vaughn stories too - he and claudia have 3 children. i have been gone for a few months, but by all the "blind" posts being daily mail rehash posted as blinds, it seems enty is off his/her game. i used to believe everything i read on here as golden, but having a very dear friend who has worked w/both lady gaga and tom cruise and hearing of this person's experience with both - only one had this friend sign a confidentiality agreement and it was not tom - i wonder if a lot of this stuff is just made up rubbish.

Cos I didn't interpret any of the comments as slut shaming necessarily - telling people it's not a good idea to get involved with a married man sounds more like good advice! I mean, yes, if a man is looking to cheat then he should be held accountable, but just because he wants to doesn't mean you have to let him.
I look at it this way: say the perfect scenario happens, which in this case is you fall in live, he leaves his wife for you and you get all married and stuff. Even if he was faithful to you the rest of his life... Wouldn't you worry? Wouldn't you have that nagging lack of trust that would make you sweat whenever he had to work late? Wouldn't you want to check his phone and email?

I can't imagine Olivia Wilde being flipped out if on the very, very off chance the father is Jason Sudeikis. Wilde's from a way cool, very open minded family and her first husband had quite the complicated family history as well. I don't think it's Sudeikis anyway. 2 things. 1. I takes a certain kind of woman to make a move on an obviously married or "taken" man.
2. It's the man's fault if he acts on it. I have been around a lot of my married guy friends, seen them get hit on, and then politely turn their back on the person doing the approach. I also have girlfriends that have hit on a guy NOT knowing he was married or whatever, and then immediately backed off.
