Brooke Mueller Keeps Trying To Get Her Kids - Loses Publicist

You know you are a hopeless case if Steve Honig drops you. The former publicist for Lindsay Lohan has quit as Brooke Mueller's publicist. Not getting paid? It is tough to work if you are not getting paid and it is pretty safe to assume Brooke is not getting those monthly $55K checks from Charlie Sheen which is why she keeps trying to go to court to get them. She is zero for three after trying again last week and now her new strategy is having her mom move in to Brooke's house so when Brooke gets out of rehab, she can convince the judge that someone responsible will be there. Uh huh. Obviously they have never encountered Brooke's mom before.

I went ot on this on babypants blurb, but will state again i am delighted welfare of kids being put first. Leave them with their busy active household, with surrogate mom who loves them, 3 sisters, pets galore and surrogate grandoa in denises father. Even charlie, for all his myriad of problems, is putting the boys welfare first. Extremely redeeming for his karma. But thise boys are coming first like they should.
Brooke is halfway down the death by overdose track. Should focys on getting shit tigether and not bother her boys, but then, junkies are selfish bastards.

I think it's odd they wouldn't be with her family and is with the dads ex wife. I have never heard of this happening before. What is wrong with her mom? I'm not defending anyone but I come from divorced parents (they always got along at least as far as we knew) and that would be like my mom having custody of my dads daughter from my step mom which would be odd.

Also, how come Denise Richards has become a saint in all this. I bet she thought an extra $55k would come in handy every month. Not to mention the free publicity an image change and a bit of relevance thrown in for good measure.
It wasn't too long ago when she screwed her best friend's husband and broke up their marriage.

Isn't this the same Mom who had Brooke tending bar for a house party the day after she got out of one of her rehab stays? That Mom? I say keep them all far away from the woman who raised Brooke to be the fine Mother that she is today.

F28,i do know of a case where bio children went with steofather. It happens. Her family are supp souless social climbers whi dint think brooke has any problem.

Her parents are WHY she has the issues that she drugs away. They dont need the kids, fo sho. Also, didnt Charlie say he wasn't taking the money away from her? Denise Richards isn't a saint, but she's 10xs more decent than these people.

denise may be shity actress, friend, wife (no idea). but apparently she's a good mommy.

as for child support, my understanding is that if the court order states that charlie pays brooke $55k month, that is the order until the judge changes the order, or the child turns 18 & gradutes high school (or dies). the support order can be retroactive to the date of filing (to chnge the order) only. charlie is still under court order to pay brooke $55k month. her not having physical custody of the kids changes nothing. i haven't read anything about him taking the matter back to court.

@me: You are correct, the Court order is not changed until someone files for a modification of support. Charlie has not filed yet, so Brooke is still presumably receiving the money. Denise does not automatically receive the money simply because she has custody of the children. Denise would need to file her own request for support with the Court, although I suspect Charlie is paying her voluntarily.

Denise has refused to accept extra money for taking care of the boys. Also, I think Charlie, for all his glaring flaws, is quite generous and would probably help support Brooke even if she didn't have the kids with her.

Denise isn't perfect and I'm sure she's made plenty of mistakes in her life, like we all have. She's doing a mitzvah taking care of those boys and not asking for more money. I think she really loves them and she likes having a big family. Charlie should just pay Brooke to stay out of the boys lives. Not what she has been getting but it would be easier to pay her $10,000 a month until she dies of an overdose. I can't see it ending any other way. Brooke is the type of drug addict that will never get better. Sad but true.

Denise and her father are a blessing for those children.
