I understand that all things KarTrashCan are easy to mock, but I cannot go there with Bruce right now. If he is transitioning, with or without surgery, than I wish him all the best. He has the resources for a therapist and a support system to help him through this. Many trans people are not so lucky.

After reading a lot of the comments on this, I really don't know what to think about Bruce. If he is transitioning, I really hope he doesn't go the Chaz route, and do a reality/documentary about it. I hope he can do so in a manner that is best for him.

If this isn't happening, I have no words..

Seven, I read everyone's comments that have been made up to the time I get to a particular item. It's usually later in the day when most people have posted already. I generally do not go back and read more comments after that although sometimes I do. It's random.

You mistakenly assume that this is intended as a personal insult to individuals who post replies later and/or to repeat posters which it is not. It's simply the way I read the site. I know for a fact that I'm not the only person who reads it this way. I also know someone who obsessively reads every post and comment here, every single day. I would find that exhausting.

(Hello there, C, perhaps alerting me to these replies was not your best idea ever nor, I'm sure, is me replying to them now but here we are. I blame you. ;p)

If someone is aggravated enough to argue a point with me, I probably won't see it. I am not told about every comment, thank the baby jebus. That certainly doesn't negate someone's right to give me a ration of shit if they feel like it and I wholeheartedly support their right to do so. If someone actually wants me to know they're giving me a ration of shit, which some people seem to, then tacking it on early to a post the next day might be a better option. At least it's pretty likely I'll read it. Whether I choose to respond to it or not is another matter.

Frankly, I don't expect comments to/about what I say, nor can I think of a reason there should be many of them. I suppose there might be some from a particular celebrity's fangirls whom I've pissed off with a bitchy comment about the object of their affection. There's no talking to them so it's irrelevant whether I read or respond to their remarks. As a rule, I'm clear in my mind about what my opinions are but I'm hardly an extremist of any kind. I seriously doubt that my snarking is worthy of a reaction from most sensible people.

Seven, I found Kristin's bizarre comment attacking Christopher Guest feeding the homeless to be quite shocking. It's nice that you think she's nice and perhaps she is in other circumstances. My opinion of her fucked up comment and attitude about this hasn't changed.

If Bruce is transitioning, and unless there is photoshopping going on it appears that he is, then this has to have been a life long struggle for him, one he is finally trying to work out. There will be enough issues with his children, issues that will have to be worked out in private without us, the public, getting all up in his shit. People who mock him are those whose minds have been carefully programmed to deem only the tiniest and most mundane bits of reality as "acceptable". Xanadu said...: Transphobia is most definitely 'a thing'. Most people aren't transphobic imo, just ignorant and don't know the "correct" or current terminology. It can be hard to gain an understanding, with activists for the trans community inventing new words often and shutting down basic dialogue with a bad attitude and demands. Not helping trans people at all.

But back to Jenner.. After watching the show for all these years, there is nothing out of the ordinary about this. It makes complete sense. Good for Bruce... I figured when the sons started making a regular appearance, that something was up. There was a sudden child-to-parent support there that was not evident in the past.; 6:59 PM
