I find her to have No Gleam Whatsoever..dull as dishsoap...especially in "Mildred Pierce" w/Kate Winslet..I don't get it w/her.

Shelly Shell ...She came from a theatre acting family. Her father was played Natalie Wood's boyfriend in Brainstorm. They always hoped their kids would be successful (who doesn't on that point) actors. I think it comes from her being raised in that (H'wd) environment. She appears to be ruthlessly ambitious but her dad is very supportive to younger actors in the theatre.
Her best performance was the Heart Shaped Glasses video, and she wasn't even acting.
