Blind Items Revealed #6

July 7, 2014

This former A list mostly movie actress who is in a new movie now, but is probably in the bottom half of the B range was stopped by a fan who called her by her first name. Bad move. She likes to be referred to as Ms._______. Yep. So, she turned the fan away and told him to come back when he has more manners. She is never nice to fans. This is just one that is recent. Rarely has a fan had a good interaction with this offspring.

Ashley Judd

Based on a lot of items we've read here, very few celebs are nice to fans. So why is this different?

I always believed that story about her abandoning her pets when she went out of town.

Hi everyone! Hi Sandy! This site makes my computer crash but I heard the others say people are being banned etc so I just wanted to see if I am

hey Derek. Someone may have been banned for posting as "Enty" and "admin" but I have no clue who it was. He addressed those posts in yesterdays blind message.

i have been lurking on this site for years, and this redesign is crashing my computer as well. i have worked in web design for a zillion years, and there are so many ways of making a site like this work without all this nonsense. i wonder if we can all share our tips about the site in the tips section. otherwise, this is poor design that makes the site so frustrating that regulars like myself can't bear to come back. it is literally giving me a headache. c'mon, enty. we love you. make it user friendly, willya?

I'm gonna play devil's advocate (for this one only) Addressing someone by their first name lends a familiarity that would be a perfect "in" for stalking behaviour.

After watching that Judds reality show on OWN, I am surprised that Wynonna and Ashley aren't crazier. Their mother gave them one hell of a childhood.

I watched as well and there are HUGE issues with that mother and those girls.
There's no reason for her to act like a viper , but I never address someone I've not been introduced to by their first name until they've given me permission to do so.
I was raised that way, and I suppose old habits die hard.

My computer AND android phone keep crashing. And I am unable to leave posts for the majority of attempts to do so. I haven't trolled, nor been a pest. Uncertain if inability to post is due to Enty having a black list with my name in it?
Not complaining about redesign, but when it freezes, won't load (I have a new samsung, & an apple mac), blocks me from commenting, crashes both phone & PC, jumps to pages (eg infamous blinds or whatever, or readers' pics) I don't wish to read it becomes too much hard work, & an arduous and fraught with frustration and time wasting, it means i can't.

I like her.and she seems like a sweetheart and intelligent .
she wants to be referred by her name so what.
so who cares if she asks for something that is rightfully hers

When I was a kid I worked in a high end lingerie boutique in SF and she came in by herself with about 4-6 little dogs on leashes. She was dressed down and looked away as to not be recognized. All I wanted from her was a sale and once she saw that I didn't react to who she was (or perhaps she thought I didn't know who she was) she began to relax and speak to me. She asked how much a pair of slippers were and then replied, "$80! I'm a connoisseur of slippers and these are overpriced!" I shrugged my shoulders because I wasn't the owner and had already mentioned to the owner that they were too pricey, along with many other items that had been marked up too high, but I couldn't say that. This was about 13 years ago so they'd be even higher now. Anyway, They were pretty awesome quality slippers with thick cushion and Egyptian waffle Cotton. She acted exasperated and bought the slippers anyway along with a robe and some other cozy sleep clothes. She wasn't particularly rude (except the fact that I hate when people lash out at sales clerks with their frustrations with a company where the clerk obviously has no control or authority) but not friendly either. I remember she had flawless, almost translucent, glowing skin and wore an antique looking, unusually-shaped diamond ring, the flattest diamond I've ever seen, but wide and huge, wider than her finger. She took a phone call about furniture delivery as she paid, then walked out puppies in tow. What I took home is that she has gorgeous skin, has a husband who has great taste in jewelry and is a connoisseur of slippers.

US culture is so informal that it is ridiculous for "Ashley" to expect otherwise.

She gives a lot of speeches on the rubber chicken circuit, and she has a favorite opening gambit that I find SO annoying. I've attended lots of this type of speech and when the speaker greets the audience (sometimes 2000 people) the audience takes it as pro forma and doesn't reply.

Well, Miss Manners, I mean Ashley Judd, thinks that's RUDE. She'll say "Hello everyone" and when they don't say hello back she'll stop, get this schoolmarm look in her face, and say "I'm from the South, and where I'm from, it's considered polite to say hello back when someone greets you." Then she'll turn to the side and clap her arms together and yell "TAKE TWO. Helllooooo everyone" and like good little sheep the people will uncomfortably murmur 'hello."

I certainly hope they don't say "Hello, Ashley" because then she'd have to stop and scold them AGAIN.

Sooo not a fan of this snotty beyotch.
