This B list mostly television actress who is lucky to find work and only gets it because of her now defunct marriage which gives her that A+ list name recognition is being a diva. A guest starring role where all the cast and crew drive themselves to work but our actress has to have a car pick her up and drop her off. The only person on set who does this.

Well, Katie Holmes is undoubtedly the world's greatest "B list mostly television actress who is lucky to find work and only gets it because of her now defunct marriage which gives her that A+ list name recognition". Not sure if she's mostly TV or doing television now. All her movies have bombed.

D Richards is at best C list and I'm pretty sure is mostly movie with some TV. Good guess though.
She is on Ray Donovan now.
What I don't understand is what weird force is helping Katie Holmes continue to get roles. Did she make some kind of deal that the $cientos would continue to promote her? She's approaching middle-age and has no particular fan base, yet she keeps getting spokesperson jobs as well as acting jobs. Bizarre.

If it's true the hanks/Wilson marriage is on the rocks (and I'm not convinced) I'd guess her..guest spots on the good wife, and I can see her insisting on vip treatment. Maybe I'm a sucker, but I don't see Holmes pulling diva stunts like this.
Katie Holmes does seem to fit. I did love her in Pieces of April but I despise that smirky smile she seems to always have.
I don't get blinds like this. If the people working on the show think she's being a diva by getting a driver why are they paying for it? They can't complain if she's accepting what they're freely providing. Makes no sense.....
KH doesn't strike me as a diva (divas are Mariah and JLo).
I think either she got accustomed to it or it's a safety issue.

Playing devil's advocate here....maybe Katie doesn't know how to drive? It's funny, yes, but I hear there are quite a few celebs who never had to drive nor learn how to drive.
The ONLY answer I can fathom is because Katie Holmes doesn't look like every other Hollywood actress. Also, she hasn't fudged up her face w/ tons of botox and fillers and injections like the rest of Hollywood. I would assume producers and directors are begging for actresses who have a "normal" face instead of that same Hollywood face that 96% of the actresses have out there.

You would think she has enough money--and has it well-invested, etc., with her smart father's guidance--that she doesn't have to work any longer. I'd just go be a regular person, FFS. But I guess acting is in her blood...
@ selenakyle- I think it's maybe less of her desire to act, and more of the fact that she tasted the heights of fame when married to Cruise. Seems that after raising her daughter up till now and not really having it. It's definitely not for the $$$ though, agreed.
